This a great memory cd for all those who think 1991 was the most important music year in
the modern rock era. Particularly in the Detroit area, where we had 89X (and to a lesser
extent, The River) playing great new music with the Seattle Sound, a ton of great Canadian
groups, Alternative, some MTV experimenters, and then of course the Smashing Pumpkins. I
had forgotten how much I loved their first songs. No misses on this disc. (P.S. I reviewed this
because Amazon said they would send me a joke if I reviewed six purchases. If you're just
doing the reviews to see the joke, that's a mistake. The jokes aren't that good.)

used to really get on my nerves years ago. I will say his cover of Stevie Nicks' Landslide is
atrocious. Artists shouldn't cover other people's songs if they've got nothing new or
interesting to add to it. Some of their earlier stuff is a bit noisy, but overall a decent
collection.
