Itinerary for Goa trip
03 OCT : Assemble at the school at 9.30 AM to depart for Lucknow by bus at 10 AM. All
participants to bring their packed lunch. Arrive Lucknow airport by 12.30 PM and board the
flight for Goa at 2.35 PM. Arrive Goa at 4.55 PM and transfer to the resort by bus. Check into
rooms. Evening at leisure to enjoy in the resort. Dinner and night stay at the resort.
04 OCT: After breakfast visit Old Goa Churches – Se Cathedral, the largest church in Asia
(a world heritage Monument) and Basilica of Bom Jesus (embalmed body of Goa’s patron
saint, St. Francis Xavier, lies here preserved since his death almost 500 years ago). Also visit
the famous Mangeshi Temple. Proceed to visit the Tropical Spice Plantation in Ponda.
Situated in a huge natural un-spoilt tract of land, it offers guided walk around the plantation
with information on various spices, herbs etc. Enjoy a Goan lunch here. Evening at leisure
at the Calangute beach. Walk back to the hotel (1 km) for dinner & night stay.
05 OCT: After early breakfast, visit the beautiful Vagator beach and walk upto Chapora
Fort which was constructed in 1612 to keep a check on enemy attacks. Also visit Morjim
beach – one of the most serene and beautiful beaches of Goa. Return to hotel for a late lunch.
After lunch proceed by bus to Panjim. Enjoy shopping in the local market, visit the famous
white church – Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church. Thereafter enjoy a
sunset cruise on river Mandovi with Goan cultural performances. Return to resort for
dinner and overnight stay.
06 OCT : After breakfast visit the 17th century Portuguese-era Fort Aguada which has the
old and new lighthouses, the old cellular jail and situated atop Sinquerim beach. Return to
hotel for lunch. After lunch visit the happening Baga beach. Return to the resort to enjoy a
DJ evening. Dinner and stay at the resort.
07 OCT: Check-out from our resort after breakfast by 11 Am. Morning at leisure/to enjoy in
the resort pool/for shopping in local market. After lunch transfer to airport to board flight
for Lucknow at 5.25 PM. Arrive Lucknow at 7.40 PM. Packed dinner. Board AC bus for
Kanpur. Arrive school by 10.30 PM.
TOUR CONCLUDES
Tour charges includes Kanpur-Lucknow-Kanpur transfers by AC bus, sightseeing in Goa as
per the itinerary by chartered AC coach, accommodation in a good resort in Goa on 4 sharing
basis for 4 nights, all meals, packaged snacks cool drink and packaged water during bus
journey, entrance fee & guide charges wherever applicable, sunset Boat Cruise, Insurance
cover of Rs.2 lakhs for each participant and service of Tour Manager.
NOTE: Tour Charges does not include expenses of personal nature like Phone Calls,
Laundry, Portage, Tips, personal medical expenses, Camera Fee at places of visit etc. Any
meals taken at the airport or in the flight will be payable directly by the participants, as
extras.
