JEWELLERY POLICY

JEWELLERY POLICY
 NO jewellery, earrings, bracelets, bangles, rings, watches or threads etc., are
allowed to be worn in the food handling area/production area by any of the
employees irrespective of Males or Females. Employees can keep their
ornaments in their own locker specified before entering in the Production
area.

 REASON: Jewellery can easily fall into food products. It is difficult to clean
and may carry microorganisms on the surface or in the crevices. Jewellery
can contaminate food products as well as a safety hazard to the customer.

 The below mentioned things are not allowed in production area.

a) Glass or metal bangles.

b) Finger rings, toe rings or ear rings.

c) Chains, Mangal sutra or any kind of things worn around neck.

d) Bindis.

e) Threads in hands and neck.
