I wish to apply for the above post. I am a high school teacher with experience in working with
learners, parents and community at large. I believe my education and administrative experience as a
Deputy Head and Head of Department in different schools in the Education sector makes me
suitable for the post.
Part of my work as the Deputy Head of school, includes coordinating the Orphaned and
vulnerable children (OVCs) from the school community particularly on fees payment and general
welfare. I am the contact person for organizations that assist learners, such as Higher Life
Foundation, National Aids Council, Dreams, Girl child Network and many others. I would meet
the requirements by mainstreaming the issues affecting women and girls from the community and
referring them to relevant organizations, where necessary, with the hope of breaking the cycle of
discrimination, inequality and gender violence against women and girls.
I do possess a Master of Education degree in Sociology. I am conversant with computer skills
involving Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. I believe that I can be able to perform
the necessary duties in order to achieve organizational effectiveness and efficiency without much
difficulty. And, I also have a passion for learning new aspects of any job offered.
