Characteristics of Living
and Non living things.

Mountains, oceans, trees,

and animals are just a few of
the things that can be found
nearby.
The earth on which we live
is made up of many
components.
There are two types of these
"things": living things and
non-living things.

I will show you the Living

and Non living things :

Living things are things

have sense, breathe, eat,
grow, move, and reproduce.

Like for examples (dog,

trees, bird etc.)

Non-living things cannot

breathe, move, grow, eat, or
reproduce.
They have no senses.
Examples are hat, pencil,
lamp keys etc.

I already discuss the 2 types

of things. To learn more

The Differences of Living

and Non living

1. Unlike non-living
objects, which do not
grow and evolve
through time, live
things do.

2. Contrary to non-
living things, which
may exist without
food, air, or water,
living organisms
depend on these
elements for
survival.

3. While non-living
things live and do
not die, living things
typically live for a
while and then pass
away.

4. Non-living things do
not go through an
evolution, only
living things do.

5. Non-living items do
not undergo
metabolic changes,
whereas live things
go through
catabolism and
anabolism.
