BAC Resolution to BID
Resolution No.24-02- 007
WHEREAS, the request of JENNYLYN CALIXTRO, to procure Paper vellum (short),
Paper Vellum (long) Bondpaper (long) Bondpaper (a4) and Expanded Folder
(yellow) for learner’s records and documents, under Purchase Request No.24-02-
007 dated _02/05/2024 with an estimated amount of FORTY EIGHT THOUSAND ONE
HUNDRED TWENTY PESOS ONLY (Php 48,120.00) inclusive of VAT and other
applicable taxes has been approved by the Head of the Procuring Entity.
WHEREAS, Section 12 of RA 9184 provides that the BAC shall recommend to the
Head of the Procuring Entity the use of Alternative Method of Procurement as provided for
in the Article XVI of the Act.
WHEREAS, the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) believes that resorting to the
Alternative Method of Procurement, particularly Shopping Procurement pursuant to Section
52.1 (b) of the Revised IRR of RA 9184 is justified and, in this instance, advantageous to the
School;
WHEREAS, upon careful consideration and deliberation among the Committee
Members, the BAC determines that the procurement of Paper vellum (short), Paper
Vellum (long) Bondpaper (long) Bondpaper (a4) and Expanded Folder (yellow) ,
warrant appropriate action;
NOW, THEREFORE, the members of the Bids and Awards Committee, hereby
Resolves as it is hereby RESOLVED to recommend to the Head of Procurement Entity, the
School Principal, the procurement Paper vellum (short), Paper Vellum (long)
Bondpaper (long) Bondpaper (a4) and Expanded Folder (yellow) , through
Shopping Procurement .-
RESOLVED FINALLY that a copy of this Resolution be furnished to the Head of
Procurement Entity, the School Principal of Ipil National High School and shall be made an
integral part of the procurement.
RESOLVED, this 5th day of February 2024, at Ipil National High School, Ipil, Ormoc
City, Leyte.

BAC Resolution Declaring the Single Calculated and Responsive Bidder
and Recommending Award of Contract
Resolution No. 012
WHEREAS, the request of PUREZA H. MOSQUITE, to procure 32 inches, SMART
Televison for classroom use as an additional Instructional material for learners, ,
under Purchase Request No. 22-02-012 dated 02/14/2022 with an Approved Budget for the
Contract (ABC) of Thirty Six Thousand Pesos Only (Php 36,000.00)inclusive of VAT
and other applicable taxes has been approved by the Head of the Procuring Entity.
WHEREAS, the BAC through its Secretariat and requested quotations from three
local suppliers on February 15, 2022.
WHEREAS, the BAC opened the submitted quotations on February 18, 2022 and the
prices quoted by the bidders are as follows:

WHEREAS, after careful examination of the quotations submitted by the bidders, RL
Appliance Inc. found to be the Lowest Calculated and Responsive Quotation;
NOW THEREFORE, on the basis of the foregoing. It is hereby RESOLVED:
a) To declare RL Appliance Inc. as the Bidder with the Lowest Calculated and Responsive
Bid for item number 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 and 9 in the amount of Thirty Three Thousand
Six Hundred Pesos (Php 33,600.00 )inclusive of appropriate taxes;
b) To declare _______ as the Bidder with the Lowest Calculated and Responsive Bid for item
number_ in the amount of ___________ (Php ) inclusive of appropriate taxes;
c) To declare _______ as the Bidder with the Lowest Calculated and Responsive Bid for item
number _ in the amount of __________ (Php ) inclusive of appropriate taxes;
d) To declare _____________ as the Bidder with the Lowest Calculated and Responsive Bid for

e) To recommend for approval by the HoPE the foregoing findings.
RESOLVED, this 18th day of February 2022, at Ipil National High School, Ipil, Ormoc
