WINTER BOBBLE CROCHET BLANKET PATTERN
You will need
400g of DK yarn to make a blanket size approximately (70cm x 90cm).
I used Stylecraft Special DK in these colours.
100g Silver 1203
100g Grey 1099
100g Cream 1005
100g Pistachio 1822
5mm crochet hook
Abbreviations UK Terms
CH - Chain
DC - Double Crochet
Sts - Stitches
Tr - Treble stitch
Skill Level : Easy
Dimensions
90cm x 70cm
Gauge
21sts x 9 rows = 14cm
Gauge is not really important on this blanket.
Start
Ch108
Row 1 (Right Side) - 2tr into the 3rd chain from the hook, *skip 2ch, (1dc, 2tr) into the next Ch**.
Repeat from * to ** till the last 3ch. Skip 2ch, 1dc into the last chain. Ch2, turn.
Row 2 - 2tr into the first st (the same one as the Ch2), *skip 2tr, (1dc, 2tr) into next Dc**. Repeat from
* to ** till the last 3sts. Skip 2tr, 1dc into last st. Ch2, turn.
Repeat row 2 till your blanket is the length you want it.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
I did 8 rows per colour, but you can do as many rows as you want. If you don't like green then another
gorgeous colour combination would be to swap the pistachio for mustard.
BORDER
You can do any border for your blanket, but I did a simple Dc border. With the colour of your choice do
1dc evenly around the blanket, making sure you do 3dc into each corner. Slip stitch to first Dc to join. I
did 3 rounds in total.
Weave in ends.
