AMENDMENT TO THE TELANGANA JUVENILE WELFARE, AND CORRECTIONAL SUBORDINATE
SERVICE.

In exercise of the powers conferred by the provision to article 309 of the Constitution of India and all the
powers hereunto enabling, the Governor of Telangana hereby makes the following amendment to the Special Rules
for the Telangana Juvenile Welfare and Correctional Subordinate Service issued in G.O.Ms.No.63, WD, CW & DW
(CL) Department, Dated: 26.08.1999 and as amended subsequently from time to time:
AMENDMENT
In the said rules,
In the annexure to the Rule 5:
(1) In Class - A, against category 5, for the entry in column (3), the following shall be substituted,
namely:-
“Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from any University in India established or incorporated
by or under a Central Act, Provincial Act or a State Act or an Institution recognized by the
University Grants Commission or an equivalent qualification.”
(2) In Class - B, against category 5, for the entry in column (3), the following shall be substituted,
namely:-
“Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from any University in India established or incorporated
by or under a Central Act, Provincial Act or a State Act or an Institution recognized by the
University Grants Commission or an equivalent qualification.”
The Juvenile Welfare, Correctional Services and Welfare of Street Children Department, Telangana is
requested to take necessary action in the matter.
