Grouting Preparation
Ensure the adhesive has set and dried thoroughly, and the tiles are firmly in position.

Ensure the tile and joint is thoroughly cleaned and free from any contamination, loose particles, grease,
lacquer, plastics, or traces of foreign materials.
It is recommended to wait for a minimum of 24 hours following the application of tiling.

Mixing & Application of GT Colour Grout

GT Colour Grout is suitable for tile gaps that are 6 mm or less in width.

Begin the application process by combining one bag (25 kg) of dry GT Colour Grout powder with (Approx 25-
28%) 6.3 – 7 Liters of clean water.

Use an electric mixer for a thorough mixing, ensuring an optimal mixing time of 3-7 minutes to create a
creamy paste without lumps.

Use a rubber/sponge trowel or other appropriate tools to apply GT Colour Grout grouting mortar diagonally
across the tiles.

Apply force to make sure the joints are filled deeply with grout.

Use a rubber or sponge trowel to diagonally remove any excess grout from the tiles.

Wait for 15 – 30 minutes, allowing the grout to dry based on temperature and humidity considerations.

Use a dampened cloth or sponge to tidy up the tile surface.

GT Colour Grout can be applied 24 hours after tiling. Please refer GT Colour Grout’s method statement for
further information.

Curing
Water misting is recommended but not always essential. However, it is mandatory under extremely hot or
dry weather conditions.

4
Health & Safety
It is recommended to use a NOISH-approved or equivalent particulate face mask when mixing the material.

The material composition contains cement, which may cause an allergic reaction.

Exercise caution, as the material could cause irritation to the eyes and skin. In the event of eye contact,
rinse immediately with ample water and seek medical attention. Should skin contact occur, wash
thoroughly with soap and water.

Keep the product out of reach of children.

Refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for comprehensive information on health, safety, and proper
handling procedures.

Cleaning & Disposal of Waste

For cured material, mechanical removal is suitable, while uncured material can be washed away with
water.

Ensure proper disposal of waste in accordance with applicable legislation.
