Subject: ESTABLISHMENT OF DRRM CORNER IN EVERY CLASSROOM
Peace be with you!
It is a heart-warming thought to ponder that our Department of Education does
always extend its effort to deliver quality education and learning continuity even
during disasters and emergencies. The mission is so-noble, as it does not only stop
from forging a learning continuity plan, but more so, as to ensure the safety of
Filipino learners, as well as the safety of their learning environment.
Thus, in this note, I, hereby ask you to conjoin in this particular mission through
establishing a DRRM corner in your respective classroom in order to provide
necessary knowledge regarding safety protocols against potential hazards. This, in
pursuant to the Comprehensive Disaster Risk Reduction and Management
(DRRM) in Basic Education Framework (provided by DO 37, s. of 2015), shall be
our united response to risks and hazards that may hamper our mission as educators
of our youth.
