I am writing to apply for Team Leader position at GFA Consulting Group t that was recently
advertised on Ethiojobs, since my qualification and work experience fit.
A brief review of my career working experience will reveal what I can contribute to
agriculture: I have qualifications in Land Administration and Management Specialized in
land Information System (M.Sc), Natural Resource Management (B.SC), Forestry (Diploma)
and Basic Computer Courses (Certificate). I have a total of about 23 years’ work experiences
in agriculture on professional and team leader/coordinator positions at Woreda and Zonal
levels. I have been worked as Focal person Land Investment for Transformation (LIFT) and
Menchen Fur Menchen project was funded by UK aid. Through experiences, trainings and
exposure visits, I have gained profound skill and knowledge on Agriculture Sector in Natural
Resource Management and early warning and food security focus on Physical Soil and water
conservation, Flood Control and Improved Drainage, Soil Fertility Management and Biological
Soil Conservation, Agro-forestry Development and Forestry, Small scale irrigation and
Infrastructure Development, Gully Control and providing temporary employment and
generating and/or maintaining some labor-intensive infrastructural projects and social
services.
I have extensive experience in monitoring, GIS analysis and cartography using ESRI ArcGIS,
and database development using Excel.
Along with this letter I have attached a copy of my resume for your consideration. I hope
that you will consider me as a possible candidate for this job.
I am expecting 1200 up to 1350€ (in Euro €) gross salary, however I agree with the
company salary scale.
