noun is being asked.
After that the teacher will introduce 4
words (Friend, Mom/Dad, Dog, School).
The teacher will ask a specific name of
friend, mom/dad, dog, city)
The difference between Common
and Proper Nouns
Look at how they begin writing them
Common noun begins with small
letter while proper noun begins
with capital letter
Friend, You can call everyone your
friend, I am your friend, she is my
NO Sir
friend, he is your friend, But John.
Can you call everyone John? Yes or
No?
Verry Good! Because this is a specific
name of a friend.
Again class a proper noun always begin
with a capital letter and a common noun
is small letter
Dad, everyone can be a dad, my
dad is named Abbie and you can
call your dad Abbie too because
your dad has their own names.
Dogs, We can call all a dogs a dog
but we cannot call all dogs Browny
After this the teacher will ask other
examples of a proper noun and ask them
if the teacher write the first letter
