Welcome to
Tam Coc Garden
Just 100 kilometers south of Hanoi, majestic limestone mountain peaks tower
over deep valleys, shimmering rice paddy fields and peaceful lotus lakes: this
is Tam Coc.
At the heart of this unspoiled natural setting sits Tam Coc Garden, a
sustainable sanctuary where tasteful architecture cohabits in harmony with
a lush Tonkinese garden and panoramic views. This is where the now blooms.
Upon stepping into our peaceful haven, we invite you
to enjoy the present moment to the fullest. At Tam
Coc Garden, an enriching multi-sensory experience
grounds you in the here and now: wander the winding
alleyways, inhale the garden’s rich fragrances, feast
on the awe-inspiring scenery and listen to nature’s
soothing lullabies. Our aim is to provide all visitors
with an authentic travel experience in the form of
responsible tourism that celebrates nature, culture
and communities.
A place like no other
Tam Coc Garden exists in harmony with its spectacular surroundings
and was inspired by the original construction of a Tonkinese village.
Here, traditional Vietnamese architecture meets Indochinese elegance
while the surrounding Tonkinese garden takes us back to the gardens
of our ancestors.
Inside the traditional stone houses with tiled roofs, refined rooms fuse
rustic charm with modern luxury. Exquisite creations — handmade
by local artisans as part of our attempts to promote and preserve the
region’s crafts — provide a stylish finishing touch.

A strong sense of history
Our philosophy:
The present moment
Zen Master Thích Nhất Hạnh encouraged all humans to live in the
present moment. This vision applies to all aspects of Tam Coc Garden,
which is why we want you to forget about the chaos of life when you step
into our serene oasis.
Our garden is not just an ideal place to relax: the cultivation of organic
herbs, fruit and vegetables is also an opportunity for us to strengthen
our bond with nature. Being amongst the plants and flowers reminds
us to live in the present moment, connects us to other living things and
allows us to experience the restorative benefits of nature.
Thích Nhất Hạnh teachings also remind us of the importance of
taking care of the present for a better future: Tam Coc Garden
therefore operates in the respect for nature, people and culture.
The rooms and bungalows were built using traditional, local and
environmentally friendly construction materials where possible.
A sustainable mindset also underpins our daily practices. A wide
number of eco-friendly measures are in place, from water and
energy conservation to the reduction of waste and pollution, for
example.
So as to enrich the lives of both the local community and
travelers, our efforts are shaped and driven by a humanist
approach based on solidarity, preservation and education. We
care for the personal and professional development of our staff
while also being committed to helping local communities, be it
through social projects or by involving locals in our activities.
