“A RESOLUTION REQUESTING HONORABLE FILOMENO V. GANZON, MUNICIPAL MAYOR
FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AMOUNTING FIFTEEN THOUSAND PESOS ONLY (PHP 15,
000.00) INTENDED FOR THE CONDUCT OF SANAG FESTIVAL GIANT PAROL CONTEST ON
DECEMBER 2024.”
WHEREAS, Socio-cultural activities hold significant importance to the Filipino people as it is an
essential cultural tradition that represents our deep-rooted religious beliefs, history, heritage and
communal values;
WHEREAS, the Municipality of Balasan shall conduct the Sanag Festival to be participated by 23
Barangay;
WHEREAS, due to limited resources of the Barangay, Sangguninang Barangay Member Florencio B.
Alapa-ap motion to request financial assistance to Mayor Filomeno V. Ganzon amounting to Fifteen
thousand pesos only (Php 15,000.00) for the conduct of Sanag Festival Giant Parol Contest duly
seconded by Sangguninag Barangay Member Ariel L. Tacaisan
NOW THEREFORE, premises considered on mass motion by the body this September 1, 2024 and
duly seconded by the same be it, resolved to respectfully request Honorable Filomeno V. Ganzon,
Municipal Mayor for financial assistance of Fifteen thousand pesos only (Php 15,000.00)
