Total HLB for the formula is 9.34 (Stable milky dispersion)

If the prodct weighs 50ml, then we are using a total 2g of Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1
Dimethicone and C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate for emulsification

TIME FOR PROCESSING!
Phase A: (Water Phase)
1. Combine Phase A ingredients in a main mixing vessel.
Begin with Water and heat it to 75-80°C while stirring continuously then add the others one by
one, ensuring each is fully dissolved before adding the next.
Stir until a uniform solution is achieved.
Phase B: (Oil Phase)
1. Prepare Phase B ingredients in a separate mixing vessel.
Heat to 75-80°C while stirring to ensure completze homogenization.
2. Emulsification:
Once both Phase A and Phase B are at the same temperature (75-80°C), slowly add Phase B
into Phase A while mixing with a high-shear mixer (e.g., a homogenizer).
Continue mixing at high speed until a smooth, homogenous emulsion forms.
Phase C: (Pigments)
Add Mica Pigment into the emulsion.
Slowly sprinkle Mica into the mix and blend well using a high-shear mixer to ensure even
distribution.
Continue mixing until the pigment is fully dispersed and no clumps remain.
TIME FOR PROCESSING!
Phase D: (Encapsulation System )
Cool down the mixture to around 40°C while maintaining gentle mixing.
Once the temperature is reduced, add Liposomes and Microencapsulation ( into the
base.
Stir gently to ensure even distribution of the encapsulated actives without damaging
the encapsulation.
Phase E: (Stabilizers and Preservatives )
Add the stabilizers and preservatives:
Add Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Silica, Xanthan Gum, and the Preservative
Mix until all components are fully incorporated into the emulsion.
Final Mixing:
Final homogenization:
After all ingredients are added, perform a final homogenization to ensure the emulsion
is smooth, stable, and uniform.
Measure PH and use buffer to get to the required PH (5.5)
Note: Our AURELIA Skincare Infused Foundation is a silicone in water formula.
