The power of water


The SwirlFlash system is a hot over-spray system. This means even more power
output in high humidity conditions. The water injection takes place in the bell
mouth, just before the first row of compressor blades. The hot pressurized water will
flash once in ambient pressure which ensures constant production of small droplets
(average 3 microns). The very small droplet size allows over-spraying without
causing damage to the compressor blades.
