TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- DTDCPM rates are dynamic and depend on the move date, day, and time. The price quotation may change in case of a
change in the move date, day, and time.
- Transit Time: (A) For household transportation 300 km per day (excluding the pickup & delivery day). (B) For car
transportation 210 km per day (excluding the pickup & delivery day).
- The quote is as per the volume based on the list of inventory items provided by the customer. Therefore, if the volume
is more than our estimates, we will increase our charges proportionately.
- If the packing is being done by the customer it must be in road-worthy condition and each item should be valued
properly in the inventory list.
- Cloth Sheet, LED / LCD Box, Perfect Box, and other materials are the property of Door To Door Cargo Packers And
Movers. It should be returned to DTDCPM after unloading on the same day. Any detention for whatever reasons will be
an unauthorized act inviting appropriate actions.
- Customer must arrange for the disconnection of all electrical equipment and appliances before the commencement of
packing.
- In case of car/bike transportation, a registration book, tax book, PUC certificate, and valid comprehensive insurance
policy will be required and must be handed over before dispatch.
- In the case of car transportation, 15-20 liters of fuel must be available in the car (in case of excess fuel, it will be drained
out for safety purposes). This fuel is required to run the vehicle up to the ramp point and in the same way from the ramp
to the customer door. The distance may go up to 70 + 70 = 200 km. For locations where a car carrier cannot travel, the
vehicle will be road driven by a skilled driver, the distance in such a case may come up to 250-300 km.
- In case of motorbike movement, 2-5 liters of fuel must be available in the car (in case of excess fuel, it will be drained
out for safety purposes).
- Door To Door Cargo Packers And Movers will not be held responsible for any delay in delivery due to factors beyond
their control like natural calamities, strikes, accidents, etc.
- While we will arrange for the movement of potted plants it will be subject to the availability of space in the truck, please
note that carriage of potted plants will be done solely at the owner's risk.
TRANSIT INSURANCE
- Transit Insurance is arranged for Household Goods @ 3% and for Cars @ 1.5% of the total declared value.
- We do not encourage moves without transit insurance. However, if the customer is not willing to avail insurance, the
carrier or its agent will be exempted from any loss or damage through accident/pilferage/fire/rain/collision / any other
road or river hazard, we therefore recommend that goods should be covered under carrier risk by paying additional
charges as FOV / Insurance.
- Any claim should be intimated and lodged within 12 hours of delivery of the goods.
- In case of car and bike or other articles only exterior damages will be entertained, no claim will be paid for any internal
or mechanical fault.
PAYMENT TERMS
- 100% payment is required at the loading point in favor of Door To Door Cargo Packers And Movers.
- Services Charges @ 15% on subtotal.
- GST exempted for an unregistered person as per notification 32/2017 central tax rate otherwise extra @ 12%.
EXCLUSIONS
- Any professional third-party services such as electrician/plumber/carpenter, multiple pickups/deliveries, storage-related
costs in transit, vehicle/labor detention and overtime beyond normal working hours, public holidays, staggered
origin/destination services.
- Handling of items that cannot be accessed through a normal door/staircase/elevator, society/landlord permission, and
fees, if applicable, any force majeure situation.
- Shuttle service due to access/parking restrictions, delivery to high-rise buildings, and use of extra manpower for walking
stairs, hoists, handling of heavy objects like pianos, safes, etc.
- Any Labor Union/ Mathadi / Varai charges that may occur during loading/unloading will be billed as actual or can be paid
directly.
- Any fees/permissions required to extend DTDCPM services at the customer's location like society tax, society
permission, society parking fees, etc. will be borne by the customer.
CANCELLATION POLICY
- INR 1000 will be deducted as cancellation charges from the booking amount.
- Zero refund if less than 2 days before the move date.
- Refund will be done to your account within a week.
RESTRICTED ITEMS
Perishable Goods, Jewelry, Arms & Ammunitions, Narcotics Drugs, Counter Brand Items, Hazardous Material (Like
Crackers, Explosives, Chemicals, Gas Filled Cylinders, Battery Acids, Inflammable Oils), And Fuels (Like Diesel, Petrol,
Kerosene, Gasoline).
