Subject: Request for Discounting of Letter of Credit
Dear Sir,
| hope this letter finds you well. | am writing to request your assistance with discounting the
Letter of Credit (LC) that has been issued in favour of AASHRITHA SAWAS SYSTEMS LLP
under LC documentary credit number 0000324L.C5001876 dated 29-10-2024
‘As per the terms of the LC, the payment is due on 90 days from the date of dispatch
considering on or before 05-12-2024 dispatch date. However, we are seeking to avail a
discount on the amount covered by the LC at this stage as we are importing major parts of
this order from Hangzhou Aqua Sust Water Technology Co., Ltd, Shanghai, China which
we need to pay 100% before picking up from factory. We already cleared 20% as an
advance and at that time of pick up remaining 80% we need to pay. As per the production
schedule we are going to pick the material next Thursday 14-11-2024
We kindly request the bank to discount the LC amount, subject to the applicable interest
rates, fees, and charges. We would be grateful if you could advise us of the terms and
conditions associated with this request and provide an indication of the available discount
rate.
Please let us know if you require any additional documentation or further information to
process this request. We would appreciate it if the matter could be expedited, as it is
important for our ongoing operations.
