Bible Alphabet Coloring Book

Teacher Talking Points | Suggested Bible Verses

Each letter in this alphabet points back to an important theme in God’s Word.
Use these conversation starters to get kids talking while they color the sheets.
Questions are open ended to encourage deeper thinking and verbal
expression. This is not a quiz. Always affirm a child’s answer, even if you need
to redirect and offer a more correct response. You could say, “That’s a good
guess, but ….” or offer praise, “Wow, that’s a very smart answer, but ….”
The goal is building a relationship with each your students through conversation. Use these questions as a
starting point, but please follow the natural flow of conversation as you talk with your students. When
possible join in the coloring with the children or walk around the room to encourage their artwork.
The scripture quotes are provided in ESV and KJV for your convenience. You can easily compare other
