Observation Report

Observer: Ungalova Majona

Observation Date: 26.09.24
Lessons Observed: Asadova Hulkar’s and Turdiyev Begzod’s
Lessons.
Classroom observations are very important in helping us learn different
teaching methods. At first, we felt a bit unsure about watching our colleagues
teach, but we quickly saw the benefits for both the observer and the teacher.
Observing others gives young teachers valuable experience, while discussing
the lessons afterward helps us reflect and find ways to improve.
Observation of Asadova Hulkar’s Lesson: Asadova Hulkar’s lesson
was well-planned and organized. She started with fun warm-up activities that
helped students practice vocabulary and pronunciation. However, we noticed
that starting with group work might not be the best for young learners. It could
be better to introduce new topics individually first and then use group work later
to keep their attention.
The best part of her lesson was a matching game where students worked
together to match pictures, words, and transcriptions, which made learning
enjoyable and effective. However, she could improve by using the blackboard
more, as it helps students stay focused.
Observation of Turdiyev Begzod’s Lesson: Turdiyev Begzod’s lesson
was also well-prepared and organized, similar to Begzod’s. His warm-up
activities were engaging and helped students practice vocabulary and
pronunciation. Again, the matching game was a highlight, making learning fun
and encouraging teamwork.
Like the previous lesson, more use of the blackboard would be helpful. It
gives students something to focus on and helps them follow along with the
lesson.
Reflection and Conclusion: Teaching young students is a big
responsibility because they quickly absorb everything we teach them. These
observations showed that every activity and word can make a lasting impact.
Watching and learning from different teaching styles has inspired me to
improve my teaching skills and continue learning.
