Why We Should Learn English?

Learning a new language can be an enjoyable experience at any age. People

learn new languages for many different reasons, such as travel or work, and the
benefits can be incredibly worthwhile, whatever the reason.
First the importance of English is, it is a global language English is spoken at
a useful level by some 1.75 billion people worldwide – that’s one in every four! Being
able to speak English is not just about being able to communicate with native English
speakers – if you want to speak to someone from another country then the chances
are that you will both be speaking English to do this!
Second, English is the language of science, aviation, computers, diplomacy,
and tourism. Knowing English increases your chances of getting a good job in a
multinational company within your home country or of finding work abroad.
Third, travelling is a lot easier with a good knowledge of English. Even if you are in a
country where English is not the official language, chances are that English will still
be used as a tool for communication!
From the arguments above, it is indeed important to learn English.
Why Geography is Important? Here What You Need to Know

Why is geography important? Why study it? There are so many reasons why
geography is still a vital part of the curriculum. Here are just a few:
First, studying geography helps us to have an awareness of a place. All
places and spaces have a history behind them, shaped by humans, earth, and
climate. Studying geography gives a meaning and awareness to places and spaces.
Second, learning Geography can lead to learning History. Geography puts history in
context. It helps us see the why, when, and how of what happened in history. You’ll
learn history better by learning geography.
Third, understanding geography helps us to travel smartly. Study the
geography of a place before you travel. Learn about its natural landscapes, cultures,
and their influence on one another.
Fourth, we can understand globalization. When you travel abroad, you are
participating in globalization. Globalization is the process of cultures travelling
globally and having an effect on others. Studying geography helps us understand
where globalization might lead.
The study of geography helps us to understand relationships between
cultures. Ultimately, this leads to a more accepting and culturally aware society.
The Importance of Exercise and Sports

We all know that exercise is important in our daily lives, but we may not know
why or what exercise can do for us. Here are some of the benefits of exercise.
Exercise increases energy levels. Exercise increases the strength and
efficiency of your cardiovascular system to get oxygen and nutrients to your muscles.
When your cardiovascular system is working better, everything seems easier and
you have more energy for the fun things in life.
Exercise increases muscle strength. Staying active keeps muscles strong and
joints, tendons and ligaments flexible, allowing you to move more easily and avoid
injury. Strong muscles and ligaments reduce the risk of joint and lower back pain by
keeping the joints aligned. They also improve coordination and balance.
Exercise can help you maintain a healthy weight. The more you exercise, the
more calories you burn. In addition, the more muscle you develop, the higher your
metabolic rate, so you burn more calories even when you're not exercising. Results?
You can lose weight and look better physically which will increase your self-esteem.
Exercise improves brain function. Exercise increases blood flow and oxygen
levels in the brain. It also promotes the release of brain chemicals (hormones) that
are responsible for cell production in the hippocampus, the part of the brain that
controls memory and learning. This, in turn, improves concentration levels and
cognitive abilities, and helps reduce the risk of cognitive degenerative diseases such
as Alzheimer's.
Here's How to Prepare for the Exam Correctly

How do you study when the exam comes? Do you start preparing for the
exam weeks or months before the exam or leave it all to the last hour? If you start
studying weeks or months before the exam, that's great. However, if you learn all the
material in the last hour or minute, it's not good for you. This is called cramming.
Cramming is when students stay up until the morning to study before an exam
or complete an assignment. This habit can have a negative impact, the first is that
disturbances in the regular sleep cycle can cause temporary intellectual deviations.
For most students, lack of sleep can make them unable to focus in class. In addition,
cramming can leave us with memory lapses as well.
Everyone has a different sleep schedule, so some of them often use
stimulants for cramming. An example of a stimulant, and the most common, is
coffee. While tasty and beneficial, it causes many problems in the long run such as
Caffeine Intoxication Syndrome, anxiety, panic and headaches.
In short, cramming is not recommended as it disrupts a person's sleep cycle
causing temporary intellectual lapses, and using stimulants for cramming gives them
an adverse effect on their health.
The Impact of the Biggest Increase in the Food Index
The annual inflation rate as measured by the retail price index was 6.82% in
July, up from 6.21% in the previous month. The Office for National Statistics said the
12-month moving average rate for July was 4.08%.
The impact of the largest annual increase in inflation occurred in the
foodstuffs index (+2.47 percentage points), while the largest decline occurred in the
clothing and footwear index (-0.02 percentage points).
The highest annual inflation rate in July occurred in the housing group
(15.33%) and food (11.48%), the lowest was in the clothing and footwear category (-
0.27%) as well as water, electricity, gas and fuel (0%).
The RPI measures monthly price changes in the cost of purchasing a
representative basket of consumer goods and services, and is closely related to
increases in cost-of-living adjustments and periodic rental payments adjustments. A
closely related measure of price movement is the Harmonized Consumer Price
Index.
The Importance of Physical Fitness
Why Is Physical Activity and Fitness Important? There are several advantages
when we get fitness. Some of them are:
Physical activity is very important to prevent and reduce the risk of various
diseases and improve physical and mental health. It can even help you live longer—
research from the American Journal of Preventative Medicine shows that regular
exercise can increase your lifespan by up to five years.
Physical activity also keeps you in shape so you can enjoy relaxing activities
and do your homework and work safely. It offers great mental and social benefits as
well. The Lancet released a series of studies linking positive outcomes to physical
activity, including "a sense of purpose and value, better quality of life, improved
sleep, and reduced stress, as well as stronger relationships and social
connectedness."
On the other hand, lack of physical activity is associated with an increased
risk of health problems.
The Importance of Exercising
Most of us admit that we don't have time to exercise. We feel too busy to do
that. However, many experts say that exercise has a big role in making our body
healthy.
Being physically active offers many advantages. In physical reword, exercise
can reduce weight and our bodies will become more fit. Exercise is also believed to
reduce stress levels, improve sleep patterns, and reduce the risk of heart disease,
diabetes, and some cancers.
In addition to physical benefits, exercise also brings good effects mentally.
Because with a fitter body, exercise can make us feel fresh and happy so that it can
improve our quality and life expectancy.
How can we exercise when we are busy? Such questions are often found
among us. Actually, exercise can be done in a simple way. We can go for a walk
while shopping. In the office, we can take the stairs instead of the elevator to go up
and down. We can also cycle while enjoying our free time.
Overall, doing exercise is a little difficult in a busy life but a little exercise will
help better.
The Importance of Education
Education is the most important among all of us. Education plays a very
important role in your life. To live a life of luxury or to live a better life, you have to be
educated.
Education is what changes a person to lead a better life and even in social
welfare. Education is one that does something constructive in our near future. It
helps a person to show their best with their mind and soul. It gives you a lot of
knowledge in any aspect.
Education plays an important role in your success in personal growth. The
more you have knowledge the more you grow. Being educated and earning a
professional degree prepares you to be part of a well-known organization, company,
or institution.
In today's competitive world, education is a human need after food, clothing,
and housing. Education is the solution to every problem, it is the only education that
promotes good habits, values and awareness of things like terrorism, corruption and
more.
Education is a strength for a person and an educational need for a person.
Why We are not Allowed to Text while Driving

The popularity of mobile devices has had some dangerous consequences.

We know that mobile communications are linked to a significant increase in
distracted driving which results in injury and loss of life.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported that in 2010
driver distraction was the cause of 18 percent of all fatal crashes – with 3,092 people
killed – and crashes resulting in an injury – with 416,000 people wounded.
The Virginia Tech Transportation Institute found that text messaging creates a
crash risk 23 times worse than driving while not distracted.
Eleven percent of drivers aged 18 to 20 who were involved in an automobile
accident and survived admitted they were sending or receiving texts when they
crashed.
Distracted driving endangers life and property and the current levels of injury
and loss are unacceptable.
The Importance of Reading

I personally think that reading is an important activity in our life. Why do I say
so?
Firstly, by reading we can get a lot of information about many things in the
world such as science, technology, sports, arts and culture.
Secondly, by reading we can get a lot of news and knowledge about
something happening in any part of the world which we can see directly.
Thirdly, reading can give us pleasure. When we are tired, we can read books,
newspapers or magazines on the entertainment column such as short stories,
comedies or quizzes to make us relax.
Fourthly, reading can also take us to other parts of the world. By reading a
book about Irian Jaya we may feel that we’re really sitting in the jungles, not at home
in our rooms.
Based on the facts above, it is obvious that everyone needs to read books,
newspapers, magazines or others to get knowledge, news, information and also
entertainment. In other words, we can say reading is truly important in our life.
Home-schooling
I do not think that a home-schooling system is the best education system to
use. Although parents of home-schooling students think it is better because of the
manageable situation. I think home-schooling systems do not wrap all of the learning
aspects that formal school usually reach, such as in the learning process,
socialization and the self-development of the children.
Learning aspect in the school is not only how to understand the material or
the content of a subject, but also how to experience directly what happens in my
surroundings. The home-schooling students decide which pace that they like the
most and which thing that they want to learn deeper on it.
The aspect of the learning process also needed a good socialization of the
children. Home-schooling students just socialize with people around them that they
know well and impossible to do something bad to them. They do not experience
having a good response to react to something happen around to them which is
important as social beings.
Finally, one to one learning that is applied in a home-schooling program does
not guarantee that the children have a good development to face their real future.
They do not exactly understand how to control and face a problem that they do not
want to have because their surroundings really comfort them.
The standards of learning in this system make students not educationally
successful. This system just likes a controller of the students' development. It shows
that it is not the best way to teach or educate children.
The Importance of Having Breakfast
In a busy morning, people tend to skip their breakfast. Actually, there are
many benefits of having breakfast. Here are two reasons why it is important.
Having breakfast helps us feel more focused for the coming day. When we
study at school and didn't have breakfast before, we will more likely to not focus
during the lesson. There's nothing worse than being constantly aware that you are
hungry and counting the minutes until lunchtime. Having breakfast in the morning not
only fuels us until lunchtime but actually gives our brains the essential energy to
function and focus better on tasks, so we can concentrate more.
Having breakfast will also control our appetite. If we don't eat breakfast, we
are much more likely to end up snacking throughout the morning which could pile up
the unhealthy calories! Stay away from overly-refined snacks with added sugar, so if
you do feel like snacking, have some slices of fruits.
The two reasons above, to help us feel more focused and to control our
appetite are only some of many reasons out there on why having breakfast is
important. There are indeed many other benefits of having breakfast.
