INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES:
Attempt only three questions
You are provided with the EOT 3 2024 support files from where you must pick the
required data
Each candidate will require a new formatted 3.5” or a CD.
Create a folder on hard disk drive C (desktop) bearing your name.
Save all your attempted questions in the above folder
Software help wizards must not be used.
1. WORD PROCESSOR
a) Open REPORTCARD.docx from the support files and save it as your name.
(1 Mark)
b) Insert an automatically updating date and time at the end of the report. (1 Marks)
c) For any occurrence of kmuslimhighschool, type your name. (3 Marks)
d) Apply a suitable background colour of your choice to the report. (2 Marks)
e) Using data from STUDENTS INFO.docx, come up with 5 printable report cards.
(10 Marks)
f) Randomly insert a photo to act as a student’s photo. Photos are available in the
“Stude photo” folder. (3 Marks)
2. SPREADSHEETS
a) Copy the work from SALES.docx to a spreadsheet files of your choice and save it
as your name. (2 Marks)
b) Calculate the value of sales. (1 Mark)
c) Calculate Total sales at the bottom of sales column in line with Total sale label.
(1 Mark)
d) Calculate the highest sales, lowest sales, average sales and average price.
(4 Marks)
e) Using the table below, calculate the commission given to salesman for each item
sold, depending on the sales value of each item in column E. (3 Marks)

200,000 to 500,000 5% of sales
Above 500,000 8% of sales
f) Remarks are decide based on sales column. (3 Mark)

g) Insert a row at the top of the worksheet and enter the heading “SALES REPORT
200X”. Center the heading across your data. Apply a double underline, a blue
font color and font size 23. (2 Mark)
h) Count of remarks = ‘VERY GOOD’ using Count if function. Similarly count of
remarks = ‘GOOD’ as well as for ‘FAIR’. (3 Mark)
i) Count of units greater than 2000. (1 Mark)
3. PRESENTATION
You are to create a four slide presentation about animals
a. Use a suitable application program to load the file called Farming.pptx from
the support file folder and save it as your name. (1 Mark)
b. Insert more other three slides as follows: (3 Marks)
i. Title slide
ii. Title and Two column, content slide
iii. Blank slide
c. Move the title slide on top of the rest and in it type an appropriate title, name
and contact of the presenter (2 Marks)
d. List four consumable domestic animals and four non-consumable domestic
animals in the two column slide (3 Marks)
The table below shows a list of wild animals with their heights and population
in one forest. Use it to answer the questions following

e. Using a blank slide created and the table given above, insert a smart art of a
pyramid and show the ranking of animals with the tallest being at the top.

them into the suitable slides in your presentation (1 Mark)
g. Apply appropriate transition and animation effects on all slides to run
automatically. (1 Mark)
h. Insert an updating date to all slides (1 Mark)
i. Identify the word “wild animals” in the introduction slide and use it to
Hyperlink the slide to the wild animal folder in the support file folder.

k. On slide five create a well labeled column chart using animal name and
