o complete the REX range, Landini intro-
duces the new REX V (VINEYARD) and
REX S (NARROW ORCHARD) series,
available in both CAB and PLATFORM
versions.

Ultra-compact dimensions combine with

high performance, ergonomics, comfort
and safety to meet the increasing market
demands in the field of specialised agricul-
tural machines.

The key features of the REX V and S

series tractors include: New Perkins (TIER3)
engines for powerful, quiet and environ-
ment-friendly performance, modular trans-
New Perkins engines (TIER3) with rear
tilting hood.
The Perkins 4-cylinder naturally aspirated and
turbocharged engines of new generation deliver
74 and 83 hp (ISO), respectively, while providing
high torque backup, improved fuel economy, low
noise and reduced emissions.
The rear tilting hood provides easy access to
the engine for routine service and maintenance.

4WD front axle of latest generation for

REX V (VINEYARD).
With four-wheel drive and 55° steering angle,
the front axle of the REX V model provides
excellent manoeuvrability. When the rear wet
disc brakes are operated, the four-wheel drive
will be automatically engaged via a “spring-on”
device, thus ensuring effective braking on all
four wheels (Fig. B).

REX S (NARROW ORCHARD).
With four-wheel drive and 55° steering angle,
the front axle of the REX S model is equipped
with wet disc brakes which, combined with
action of the rear brakes, ensure effective braking

ments for simple and fast reading.

The gear and reverse shuttle levers are
located on the driver’s side in forward posi-
tion and allow 24 FWD + 12 REV speeds to be
selected in complete comfort. The reverse shuttle
lever allows both reversing all gears of the basic
transmission and activating the overdrive which
enables a maximum speed of 25 mph (40 kph) L
to be achieved.

The Cat. II three-point linkage provides a maximum
lift capacity of 5720 lb, (2600 kg). The lift lower links can
be equipped with extractable and adjustable couplings
(Fig. F).
