Title of the Research

Pathology of Religious Extremism in Afghanistan and Turkey and Ways to Solve it.

Subject analysis:

Extremist interpretations of religion are considered a general challenge in human

societies, especially among followers of Islam and other religions. Unfortunately, the damage
caused by it has affected the Muslims the most and has involved them, pushed them back
from their basic goals, and misinterpreted them, leading to takfir, murder and killing.

Extremism has disrupted the order of the universe, and the well-being of the helm of
the universe depends on security, mutual acceptance, tolerance and forbearance among its
members. Extremist movements under the guise of religion, creed, ethnicity, race, economic
interests, etc. have historically threatened and led to long and fierce house-to-house wars
between religions, ethnicities and ideologies, as exemplified in world history. And today,
most of the Islamic lands have been engaged in destructive wars that have spread to
Afghanistan and Turkey, or that are the only way to escape the bondage of religious
extremism and its ills through the reform of skeptical beliefs and Avoiding equal
interpretations of personal, religious, ethnic, and mediocre interpretations of Islam, which
represented the author's will, sought to remove religious extremism from human societies,
especially in Afghanistan and Turkey, and to find good solutions. Provide grounds for
reducing the mentioned thoughts and ideas.

Research Methodology:

In order to methodize scientific research, it is necessary to use the intended scientific

methods so that the research is accepted by the scientific community. Therefore, in the

issue in the light of valid Islamic sources and the views and opinions of scientists, taking into
account the answers collected from the explanation of questionnaires in educational, research
and research centers of both countries. I examine and explore the breathtaking harms of

The Academic Impact of Research

Religious extremism in the form of plague and epidemic has spread to the East and
the West, Muslims and infidels. Because extremism has intra-religious and extra-religious,
Islamic and non-Islamic motives, it is not limited to the realm of Islam. But unfortunately,
most of all, extremism among Muslims has been harmful, causing division and sectarianism,
civilization, negativity, disbelief and suspicion, takfir, murder and indiscriminate killings
have plundered their economy and capital, leading to occupation. Our country has been
provided by foreigners, which will undoubtedly be a beacon for the citizens of both countries
(Turkey and Afghanistan) to enlighten the minds of the people of both societies about the
harms of extremism and extremist perceptions of Islam in various sectors, as well as To play
an effective role in reducing the extremism of the citizens of both countries, especially in the
academic environment.
Research History:

Extremism and extremist conception of religion in comparison with the middle nature
of Islam and the needs of the Almighty Creator in the course of human life are two opposite
phenomena. There is no harmony between them. Over time, modern forms have taken over
and become a problem. Therefore, this issue is a challenge that is painful for the whole world
and causes war and insecurity, poverty and unemployment, ignorance and illiteracy, colonial
militarism and division and prejudice among Muslims and Islamic countries, especially
developing countries. Like Turkey and Afghanistan, it is problematic.

The books and treatises that I have accessed during the study of the above topic are
four to five volumes of books, which we will pause on the content of each, and then I will
refer to the items that I am going to introduce as an innovation and an appendix to the topic.

The first case study under the following:

1. (‫ )الصحوة االسالمية بین الجحود والتطرف‬The work of the great scientist, the former
president of the World Union of Islamic Scholars, Dr. Yousef Qaradawi, is the first case
study that examines the issue comprehensively and mentions the signs of religious extremism
and its motives. And ways to treat it.

2. Religious extremism, critical essays on the ideas of religious extremists, is the work of
Mohammad Amara, who has also discussed the approach of interaction with religious
extremists and the phenomenon of transcendental extremism.

3. Exaggeration in Religion in the Life of Contemporary Muslims the scientific study of the
manifestations of exaggeration and the concepts of sectarianism and fundamentalism is a
book whose basic composition has been written on the signs of extremism and
fundamentalism.

As a result, it can be said that so far most of the authorities that have written about the issue
of extremism so far, considering the author's environment, have somehow discussed the
internal and internal factors of their country and city, or in general, but it seems that types of
extremism And its motives in Afghanistan and Turkey are different from other countries. The
types, motives and ways to solve it are different in both countries. In this regard, I would like
to study the forms, causes and ways to solve extremism in Afghanistan and Turkey and share
common points. Identify different and consider solutions to prevent and end the phenomenon
of extremism using practical examples in both countries.
