Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the positions of Interns in the
Department of Computer Science & Engineering:
Department: Computer Science & Engineering
Project: Mobile Device Security (ISEA Phase III)
Position: Interns (Purely temporary)
Number of Positions: 05
Internship Emoluments: Rs. 10,000/- per month
Duration: Max. 02 months, Min. 01 month
Tentative start date: Nov/Dec, 2024
Qualification: 1. B.Tech./B.E. in Computer Science & Engineering/ Electronics &
Communication Engineering (3rd or 4th year) or equivalent
2. M.Tech./M.E. in Computer Science & Engineering/ Electronics &
Communication Engineering (1st or 2nd year) or equivalent
Screening and Shortlisting:
• Selection may be based on the screening done based on the credentials submitted along with
the application and/or subsequent interviews (offline/online) conducted thereon.
• The screening/shortlisting criteria will be set by the selection committee/TPO office purely on
its discretion based on the number of applications received and on percentage of marks/Class
obtained in minimum qualifying degree, relevant experience and other.
Important Instructions:
• It may please be noted that offer of Internship will under no circumstances confer on
candidates any right of absorption in NIT Hamirpur. NIT reserves the right to cancel the
Internship at any point of time if the candidate is found not suitable after selection.
• Award of Internship shall not be claimed by any candidate as a matter of right. It shall be
entirely at the discretion of the Selection Committee, which may refuse to admit anycandidate
without assigning any reason thereof.
• Intern will have to stay at Hamirpur during the internship period and accommodation during
internship will have to be arranged by internship himself/herself. However, based on the availability
he/she may be accommodated with in the campus on chargeable basis.
• Intern needs to work on the project and other works assigned by CI and team not specifically
included in the advertisement.
• Previous work done in related area will be preferred.
