occurring frequently with intervals <3 minutes, tonic uterine

Intraprocedural Steps
Assist the doctor to pass a long Kocher up to the cervical canal
and rupture the membranes
After perineal and vaginal toileting with antiseptic solution and
usual draping with sterile towels, doctor will introduce two
fingers into the vagina smeared with antiseptic ointment.
The index finger is passed through the cervical canal beyond
the internal os.
The membranes are swept free from the lower segment as far as
reached by the finger. When one or two fingers are still in
cervical canal with the palmar surface upward, a long Kocher's
forceps with a blade closed, is introduced along the palmar
aspect of the fingers up to the membranes. The blades are open
to seize the membrane and are torn by twisting movements, Real

8. Summarize 2min
What are the purposes of Induction of Labour?
What are the various ways to induce labour?
Most of the women have spontaneous onset of labour. For some
women drugs are given artificially to stimulate the uterine
contraction. A nurse should prepare the client for the process and
should be able to assist the physician efficiently throughout the
induction. A nurse should also closely monitor the client during and
after the induction of labour smooth transition and to prevent any
complications.
Enlist the articles required for Induction of labor?
9. Evaluation 2min Explain is medical method used for induction of labor?
Define steps for induction of labor?
The ultimate goal of labor induction is to achieve vaginal delivery
by stimulating uterine contractions before the spontaneous onset of
labor. Labor induction is clearly indicated when the benefits
outweigh the maternal and fetal risks of continued gestation, as well
10. Conclusion 2min as potential risks associated with the procedure.
