It is narrated by the Prophet ()ﷺ:
"Whoever memorizes and preserves 40 hadiths related to
Islam, I shall be there for him on the Day of Resurrection as
an intercessor and as a witness."
HADITH 1
ّ ُ ْ َ ْ
ِ إ َ اا َال ِ ِلن ي
ات
"ACTIONS ARE (JUDGED) BY INTENTIONS"
This hadith emphasizes the importance of sincerity (ikhlas).
The intention behind any act of worship determines its validity.
We receive rewards for our good intentions.
A good action with the wrong intention will not get us any reward.
HADITH 2
َ َفر
ِْ يض ٌة َع َ ُ ّ ُمس ْ ْ ُ ََ
ِ ِ ِ طلب ال ِع
"SEEKING KNOWLEDGE IS AN OBLIGATION
UPON EVERY MUSLIM"
Learning has no age restrictions.
It is essential to acquire knowledge that will enable you to differentiate
between Halal and Haram.
Allah is pleased with those who possess genuine wisdom.
Knowing the truth brings you closer to Allah.
HADITH 3
َ ْ ُْ َ ُ ُ
الطهورشطر ِا ِان
"CLEANLINESS IS HALF OF FAITH"
Muslims are encouraged to maintain cleanliness in all aspects of their
lives, including personal hygiene, environmental cleanliness, and
spiritual purity.
Allah loves those who keep themselves clean and pure.
Allah forgives sins and raises a man's rank if he does ablution.
HADITH 4
ُالص َ ِة ْال ُو ُضوء
الص َ ُة َوِم ْف َت ُاح َ ْ ِم ْف َت ُاح
ا ن ِة
"THE KEY TO PARADISE IS SALAT, AND THE KEY
TO SALAT IS WUDU"
This hadith encourages us believers to be regular in Salah.
Salah is mandatory to enter Jannah.
Salah will be invalid if ablution is not valid.
Performing proper ablution improves your focus during Salah.
HADITH 5
ُإ ن َأ َول َما ُ َ¡ َاس ُببه ْال َع ْب ُد َي ْو َم ْالق َي َام ِةم ْن َ َ ِ ِ َص َ ُته
ِ ِ ِِ ِ
"THE FIRST ACTION THAT A SERVANT OF ALLAH WILL BE
HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR ON THE DAY OF JUDGMENT
WILL BE HIS PRAYERS"
Be regular in your prayers.
Never miss salah for any of the worldly matters.
Salah protects one from getting involved in sins.
Prayer in congregation is obligatory for men.
HADITH 6
ُه£َ َم ْن َت َع َ ْال ُق ْر َآن َو َع¥ْ ُ ¦ُ ْ َخ
"THE BEST OF YOU ARE THOSE WHO LEARN
THE QURAN AND TEACH IT"
This hadith encourages us to memorize The Quran.
We should understand and abide by the rulings of The Quran.
We should spread the teachings of The Quran to other people.
We should appreciate those who have memorized The Quran.
HADITH 7
ُْ َ ْ َ َ ْ ُ ْ ُ ّ َ
¨ز ِينوا القرآن ِصوا ِت
"MAKE YOUR VOICES BEAUTIFUL WHEN
YOU RECITE QURAN"
Learn Tajweed for correct recitation of The Quran.
Beautiful recitation encourages people to listen to The Quran more
and ponder it.
If your goal is to impress others with your voice so they can
compliment you, then this is considered as showing off, which
you should avoid doing.
HADITH 8
ْ ٌُ ُ َّ
الصيام جنة ِمن الن ِار
ِ
"FASTING IS A SHIELD FROM THE HELLFIRE"
Ar-Rayyan, is a Special gate in Paradise for those who fast.
Fasting has numerous health benefits.
Other than Ramadan, it is Sunnah to fast on certain days, such as
Mondays and Thursdays, the Day of Ashura, the Day of Arafat, etc.
HADITH 9
ْ َ َ َْ َ َ َ ُ َ َ َ ْ َ ََْ َ َ َ
ِ و®ط ا,«ِ ل ِ ¯ ِرضا الوا ِلد
«ِ ل ِ ¯ ® ِط الوا ِلد ِ ِرضا ا
"ALLAH’S PLEASURE RESULTS FROM THE PARENT’S
PLEASURE, AND ALLAH’S DISPLEASURE RESULTS FROM
THE PARENT’S DISPLEASURE"
Treat your parents with kindness if you want to be successful in
both worlds.
Always respect your parents.
Treat your parents the way you would like to be treated once you
become a parent.
Make sincere dua for your parents.
HADITH 10
ُ ْ َ ُ ُ ُ َ َ َ َ
ِ ±َ ¨ عقوق ا
ات ْ ِإن ال َح رم عل ْي
"VERILY, ALLAH HAS FORBIDDEN YOU FROM
DISOBEYING YOUR MOTHERS"
We should obey our parents and show them kindness both in
words and deeds.
Show the utmost respect to your mother.
Priority is given to the mother because of the work she does to raise
her child with love and compassion.
We can only oppose our parents if they demand that we disobey Allah.
HADITH 11
ُ َ ¶ْ َ ال َم ْن
َ الناسµ ُّ µُ َ ¶ْ َ َ
"ALLAH WILL NOT GIVE MERCY TO THE ONE
WHO IS NOT MERCIFUL TO MANKIND"
Prophet Muhammad was a mercy to the world.
The person who is unkind to people is not a true Muslim.
Never show arrogant and heartless behavior towards others.
None of you has faith until he loves for his brother what he loves
for himself.
HADITH 12
َال َرف ٌيق ُ ِ¡̧ب ّالر ْفق
َ
ِ ِ ِإن
"VERILY ALLAH IS KIND AND HE LOVES KINDNESS"
Kindness is a mark of faith, and whoever lacks kindness has no faith.
Respect your elders and show kindness to your youngsters.
Kindness is not limited to interactions with fellow human beings alone.
Islam promotes compassion towards animals and the
environment as well.
HADITH 13
ََ ْ ر ٍةº ِا َت ُقوا الن َار َ َول ْو ِب ِش ِّق
"PROTECT YOURSELF FROM THE FIRE EVEN
WITH A PART OF A DATE"
This hadith emphasizes on how charity can shield us from the Hellfire.
It is a reminder that even small acts of kindness can have a great
impact on our lives.
We should always strive to do good deeds in order to gain Allah's pleasure.
Show generosity regardless of how small our actions may seem.
HADITH 14
ًْ َ ُ ْ َ ْ َ ْ َ ْ َº َ
وف شيئا
ِ عرÁ ¡ ِقرن ِمن ا
"DO NOT CONSIDER ANY ACT OF GOODNESS AS
BEING INSIGNIFICANT"
Never underestimate your good deeds.
Meeting your brother with a cheerful face is an act of kindness.
We must always strive to do good deeds.
Allah rewards us with respect to our intentions.
HADITH 15
ً َ ْ ُْ َ َ ْ ُْ َ
أحسن¨ أخقا¥إن ِمن ِخي ِار
"THE BEST OF YOU IS THE BEST AMONG YOU IN CONDUCT"
Follow the moral values of our beloved Prophet ()ﷺ.
Never make people around you feel inferior.
Our actions toward other people reveal our character.
Allah does not forgive those who hurt others.
HADITH 16
َ َ َ ْ َ ُ ْ ُْ َ َ ْ َ ُ ْ ُْ
ون ِمن ِلسا ِن ِه وي ِد ِه£ِ سÁس ِ من س ِ اÁا
"A MUSLIM IS THE ONE FROM WHOSE TONGUE AND
HANDS THE MUSLIMS ARE SAFE"
This Hadith potrays the general description of a Muslim.
The strong Muslims are those who protect others.
It is important to be mindful in how we interact with others.
This applies not only to fellow Muslims but also to people from
all walks of life.
HADITH 17
َ َ َو َا ْل َب ِذيء, َ َو َا ْل َف ِاح َش, َ َو َا لل ع ُان,لط ع ِان
ُ ْ ُ َْ َ ْ َ
ِ ِؤمنÁليسا
"THE BELIEVER IS NOT A SLANDERER, NOR DOES HE CURSE
OTHERS, AND NOR IS HE IMMORAL OR SHAMELESS"
Don’t speak ill of others as it deprives and excludes us from Allah’s Mercy.
No foul language should ever be used.
Displaying immoral behavior will enrage Allah.
Modesty is a segment of faith.
HADITH 18
ٌا ن َة َق تات
َ ْ َ َي ْد ُخ ُل
"THE BACKBITER WILL NOT ENTER PARADISE"
Speaking badly about people in their absence is backbiting.
Backbiting someone is considered as eating their flesh.
Even listening to backbiting is prohibited.
Backbiting is a major sin.
HADITH 19
ٌ َ َ َ ُ َّ ُ َ َ ْ َ
ة الط ِيبة صدقةËِ وال
"IT IS ALSO CHARITY TO UTTER A GOOD WORD"
Always speak kindly with others.
Be empathetic towards others.
Try not to harm others by your words.
Saying empathetic words that give relief to others is charity/ sadqah.
HADITH 20
ان ِة ّ ِ َفإ ن،لص ْد ِق
َ ْ Ìَ ِدي إÍْ َ ¦ وإ ن ْال،¦ّ ْالÌَ ِدي إÍْ َ الص ْد َق ّ ِ ¨
ْ ُ َْ َ
ِ ِ ِ ِِ ِ ِ ِ علي
"YOU MUST BE TRUTHFUL. TRUTHFULNESS LEADS TO
DUTIFULNESS AND DUTIFULNESS LEADS TO THE PARADISE"
Always fear Allah and stand at the side of truth.
Speaking the truth leads directly to Paradise.
Muslims do not lie.
Allah rewards and loves those who are truthful.
HADITH 21
َْ ُ َ ْ َ َ ْ ُ

ِ والظن؛ف ِإنالظنأ كذبا ِد¥ ِإ
"AVOID SUSPICION, FOR SUSPICION IS THE MOST
FALSE FORM OF TALK"
Do not look for the faults in others.
Give the Benefit of the Doubt and think positively.
Focus on Self-Reflection.
We do not pass judgment. Everyone will be held responsible for their
actions on the Day of Judgment by Allah, who is the judge.
HADITH 22
َ َت َ ¡اÖ
َ َ َم ْن
"WHOEVER IS SILENT, HE IS SAVED"
Never use foul language while you are angry. Silence is better.
Either speak good or remain silent.
Avoid unnecessary gossip.
Only speak when you think your words are better than your silence.
HADITH 23
ُ ْ َ َ ُ َ َ َ َ ُ َ َ َْ
ِإ ا الش ِديد ال ِذي ِلك,ع ِةØ̧ليس الش ِديد ِل
َ َ َْ َ ْ ُ َ ْ َ
نفسه ِعند الغض ِب
"THE STRONG MAN IS NOT THE GOOD WRESTLER;
BUT THE STRONG MAN IS HE WHO CONTROLS
HIMSELF WHEN HE IS ANGRY"
Self control makes one strong.
Don’t focus just on your physical strength. Practice self control.
If one has controlled his anger, he has won.
Words said in anger can endanger you.
HADITH 24
ْ¦ َن ِ¯ َق ْلب ِه ِم ْث َق ُال َذ ر ٍة ِم ْن ِكÜَ ا ن َة َم ْن
َ ْ َ َي ْد ُخ ُل
ٍ ِ
"HE WHO HAS IN HIS HEART AN ANT’S WEIGHT OF
ARROGANCE WILL NOT ENTER JANNAH"
Allah alone possesses all superiority.
Islam forbids everyone from degrading others.
Do not deny the truth out of arrogance.
Allah loves those who are modest and humble at all times.
HADITH 25
َ َ ُ َ ََ َ ََ ُ
نات
ِ فإن اسد اس، واسدÝ إ
"AVOID JEALOUSY BECAUSE IT DESTROYS
THE GOOD DEEDS"
Everyone gets what Allah has written for them.
Remember the number of blessings that Allah has bestowed upon you.
There is no envy but in two cases: a man whom Allah has given this
Book (Quran) and he stands to recite it by night and day, and a man
whom Allah has given wealth and he spends it in charity by night and day.
HADITH 26
َْ º ُ ُ َ ْ
الÁاÞ ِ ِفتنةأم
"THE TRIAL OF MY NATION IS IN WEALTH"
Be mindful of the earning and spending of your wealth.
We should not be greedy.
A body that consumes Haram earning is the proper fuel for hellfire.
We must refrain from being wasteful.
HADITH 27
ُ
َوال̧ش ح¥ْ ِإ
"ABSTAIN FROM STINGINESS"
Greed corrupts the soul and leads to evil deeds.
Greed is mentioned as the cause of destruction of past nations.
Greed leads to stinginess, because a greedy person hates to share.
Greed makes people ungrateful.
HADITH 28
َم ْن َغ ش َف َل ْي َس منا
ِ
"HE WHO CHEATS IS NOT MY FOLLOWER"
Islam has commanded traders to be truthful and avoid cheating.
Whoever cheats and deceives, has departed from the guidance.
Cheating may lead the cheater in the future to leave Islam.
Always be transparent, loyal, and honest.
HADITH 29
َ َ َ َ َْ َ ُ َ َ ََ ً َ ُُ
ماعة
ِ ا يعا و تفرقوا ف ِإن ال ¦كة معãِ واä
"EAT TOGETHER AND NOT SEPARATELY, FOR THE BLESSING
IS ASSOCIATED WITH THE COMPANY"
Eating together adds Barkah to the food.
Always welcome guests to have meals together.
Eat from your side.
Observe etiquette when dining with others, such as washing your hands.
HADITH 30
ُا ِخر َف ْل ُي ْكر ْم َض ْي َفه
æ ْ َْ َ ُ ْ ُ َ َ ْ َ َ
ِ ِ ل واليو ِم
ِ ِ ن يؤِمنÜ ومن
"WHOEVER BELIEVES IN ALLAH AND THE LAST DAY,
SHOULD ENTERTAIN HIS GUEST GENEROUSLY"
Don't believe that you are the one providing, Allah does that.
Treat your guests as you would like to be treated.
Allah increases your wealth when you honor your guests.
When you have a chance, always try to accept an invitation to
visit Muslims.
HADITH 31
ٌ ْؤِم ُن ال ِذي َي ْش َب ُع َو َج ُار ُه َجا ِئعÁا
ُ ْ َل ْي َس
"HE IS NOT A BELIEVER WHOSE STOMACH IS FILLED WHILE
HIS NEIGHBOR GOES HUNGRY"
Islam has given significant rights to neighbors.
Love the same for your neighbors what you love for yourself.
Make sure you check on your neighbors.
Make sure you do not cause any problems for your neighbors.
HADITH 32
َ َº ْ ُ َ َº
ادوا ¡ا̧بواÍ
"GIVE GIFTS TO ONE ANOTHER AND YOU WILL
LOVE ONE ANOTHER"
This hadith encourages us to exchange gifts to each other.
Spread smiles.
Add warmth to your relationships by showing love and affection.
Exchanging a gift signifies the respect and importance of others in your
heart and life.
HADITH 33

َê£ِ ِ ْسÁا َ ْ َ َ َ ْ
يق ر
ِ ِ ط ن ع ىذا لز
ِِ اع
"REMOVE THE HARMFUL THING FROM
THE PATHS OF THE MUSLIMS"
Removing harmful things from the road is an act of charity (sadaqah).
It is considered as the simplest branch of Faith.
If you help others, Allah will take away all of your problems.
If you relieve a Muslim of his troubles, Allah will relieve your troubles on
the Day of Resurrection.
HADITH 34
َ َ ُ َ َْ َ َ َ َ َْ َ ُ ََ
ن الع ْبد ِ ¯ ع ْو ِن أ ِخ ِيهÜ وال ِ ¯ ع ْو ِن الع ْب ِد ما
"ALLAH HELPS HIS SLAVE AS LONG AS HE HELPS
HIS FELLOW MUSLIM"
If you are struggling in life, go out and assist others, and in return
Allah will fix all your problems.
Helping those in need will get your sins forgiven.
Helping others purifies your soul.
HADITH 35
æ ْ َ َْ ُ ُ َ َ
َا ِخر ِة ا س¦ه ال ِ ¯ ال̧دنيا و£ِ ¦ مسº َو َم ْن َس
َ º َ ً ْ ُ َ
"WHOEVER COVERS (THE SIN OF) A MUSLIM, ALLAH
WILL COVER HIM (HIS SIN) IN THIS WORLD AND
IN THE HEREAFTER"
Never announce the faults of others.
Try to correct others in silence.
Always promote what is good and forbid what is evil.
If you find anyone committing sins, make sincere dua for their repentance.
HADITH 36
َ ِ َر َ َوí
َارí َ َ َ
"THERE SHOULD NEITHER BE HARM DONE
NOR HARM RETURNED"
Whoever harms others, Allah will harm him.
Whoever is harsh with others, Allah will be harsh with him.
It is prohibited to cause harm by words or actions.
If you harm anyone, then you are liable to pay compensation.
HADITH 37
َ
َ َ َ ْ َ َ َوأتب ْع،ُى َما ُك ْنتï ال َح ْي
َ الس ّيئة
َ ْ ُحهاº ا َسنة ْ َ اتق
ِ ِ ِ
"FEAR ALLAH WHEREVER YOU MAY BE, AND FOLLOW UP A
BAD DEED WITH A GOOD DEED WHICH WILL WIPE IT OUT"
Good deeds have the power to eliminate evil deeds.
Allah will grant them Jannah.
If you engage in good acts, you will be less inclined to commit sins.
On the Day of Judgement, those who have a higher scale of good deeds
than bad deeds will enter Jannah.
HADITH 38
ُ ْ ْ َ ْ ْ
Ìالصد َم ِة او َ إ َ ا
الص ُ¦ ِعند
ِ
"PATIENCE SHOULD COME AT THE
FIRST (STROKE) OF GRIEF"
Allah is with those who are patient.
Practice patience from the very beginning.
Allah almighty never burdens a soul beyond its capacity.
We should submit all our affairs to Allah.
HADITH 39
َُ َ ْ َُ ُ َ
ال̧دعاءهوال ِعبادة
"SUPPLICATION (DU'A') IS ITSELF THE WORSHIP"
Allah loves when His believers ask Him for their needs.
Supplication indicates our belief in Allah.
Always make supplications and ask Allah even for minor needs.
Make a supplication with a trust that Allah will accept it.
HADITH 40
ّÞ َف َل ْي َس ِمÞº ْن َرِغ َب َع ْن ُس نóَ َ
ِ ِ
"WHOEVER REJECTS MY SUNNAH IS NOT FROM ME"
The Sunnah of the Prophet ( )ﷺis the ultimate source of guidance.
The Sunnah of the Prophet ( )ﷺis the practical application of The Quran.
Follow our beloved Prophet's ( )ﷺsunnah with confidence.
Never reject or deny the Sunnah.

The Prophet ( )ﷺsaid:
“Convey from me even an Ayah of The Qur'an”
