who is morat?
Morat is a Colombian Latin pop band originally formed in Bogotá on December
13, 2011.It is composed of Juan Pablo Isaza Piñeros, Juan Pablo Villamil Cortés,
Simon Vargas Morales and Martín Vargas Morales.
history
Morat members are Colombian and have known each other since they were 5 years old, since they
studied together at the La Montaña Gym, two of their members (Simón and Martín Vargas) are
blood brothers. They began playing together several times and when they were in high school
Juan Pablo Isaza made the decision to create a band while they were still studying. In 2014, the
band performed a recording session in Bogota.At the beginning, there were no great expectations
for the band but once they heard them play live at La Tea later, Malaver was impressed with the
potential of the boys and decided to represent them.
