In everyday life, we encounter situations where we must
remember information either in the form of words, letters,
or numbers. The ability to recall words is needed for
speaking, writing, and comprehending language. In this
exercise, your clients must memorize a list of words while
developing effective strategies to help them remember the
words that they have seen. This activity challenges verbal
memory, needed for situations such as remembering a
grocery list or instructions from a doctor.
