But, speaking of Romanian… Romanian in Romanian is limba română. Limba română is a good word
(cuvânt) to know since you know… you are now learning it.
So, how do you get started with limba română?

That means nice to meet you!
Now, since we have you (tu) here… we want to know:
• What’s your name?
• Cum te numești?
To reply to that and introduce yourself, you (tu) would say…
• I’m (name).
• Eu sunt(...).
Oh, “eu” is a new word (cuvânt).
“eu” is how you say “I” in limba română.
So, just stick your name in there.
By the way, in case you didn’t notice…
Now you know a whole bunch of cuvânt and phrases.
1. Bună - Hello
2. limba română - Romanian
3. a auzi - To listen
4. a vorbi - To speak
5. a înţelege - To understand
6. a citi - To read
7. Încântat de cunoştinţă! - Nice to meet you
8. tu - You
9. eu - I/me/myself
10. cuvânt - word
11. Cum te numești? - What’s your name?
12. Eu sunt(...). - I am (name).
Not bad for a quick 2-3 minute read, right?
