1. Safety (संरक्षा) (Annexure D)

on safety related works, indents, plans, pending approvals etc. in GM's own

➢ Safety Circular No. 08/2024 was issued on the subject of Reception of a train on an
obstructed line.
➢ Month long Safety Drive No. 15/2024 for a period of 01 month was launched from
31/07/2024 to 31/08/2024 on the subject of Intensive Safety drive from 31.07.2024
to 31.08.2024.
➢ Total 14 Thick Web Switches were laid during August’24. Total 83 Thick web
Switches have been laid in the F/y 2024-25.
➢ Total 13.27 TKM CTR was done during August’24. Total 74.14 TKM CTR has
been done in the F/y 2024-25.
➢ Total 8.18 Km TSR was done during August’24. Total 43.93 Km TSR has been
done in the F/y 2024-25.
➢ Total 59.61 Km TFR was done during August’24. Total 535.5 Km TFR has been
done in the F/y 2024-25.
➢ Total 21.5 equivalent sets of TTR were done during August’24. Total 121.75
equivalent sets of TTR have been done in the F/y 2024-25.
➢ Total 15.46 Km Deep screening (plain track) was done during August’24. Total
140.01 Km Deep screening (plain track) has been done in the F/y 2024-25.
➢ Total 16 Nos. Deep screening (Turnout) was done during August’24. Total 145
Nos. Deep screening (Turnout) has been done in the F/y 2024-25.
➢ 02 Sliding Booms were installed at LC gate during August’24. Total 07 Sliding
Booms have been installed in the F/y 2024-25.
➢ 02 Remote Terminal Units (RTU) were commissioned at LC gates during
August’24. Total 07 Remote Terminal Units (RTUs) have been installed in the F/y
2024-25.
2. Commendable display (सराहनीय प्रदर्शन)

➢ During this month, 07-WAG9HC electric locos were allotted to BGKT Shed. With
this allotment, total 135 Electric locos have been allotted to NWR.
➢ Total 160 pairs of trains are taken over from Diesel to Electric traction.
➢ During the month, RE works have been completed in Phulera-Makrana D/L section
(63.43 RKM) of Jodhpur division & PCEE inspection has been carried out. Total
218 RKMs have been electrified in 2024-25, with cumulative of total electrified
BG route network to an impressive 96% (5311 RKMs).
➢ During the month, 1 TSS (Nasirabad) has been commissioned over NWR.

➢ Gross Revenue (Originating): - The Gross revenue in August’24 was Rs. 627.87
crores, which is an increase of 9.66 % over the revenue of Rs. 572.54 crores
achieved during the same month last year.
➢ Originating Passenger Revenue: - Originating Passenger revenue in August’24 was
Rs. 303.58 crores, which is an increase of 6.68% over the revenue of Rs. 251.88
crores achieved during the same month last year.
➢ Originating Goods Revenue: - Originating Goods revenue in August’24 was Rs.
283.31 crores, which is an increase of 12.48% over the revenue of Rs. 251.88
crores achieved during the same month last year.
➢ Originating Other Coaching Revenue: - Other Coaching revenue in August’24 was
Rs. 22.11 crores, which is an increase of 10.16% over the revenue of Rs. 20.08
crores achieved during the same month last year.
➢ Originating Sundry Revenue: - Sundry revenue in August’24 was Rs. 18.86 crores,
which is an increase of 17.73% over the revenue of Rs. 16.02 crores achieved
during the same month last year.
5. Non-Fare Revenue (गैर ककरार्ा राजस्व)

All efforts are being done to fetch maximum commercial publicity and
advertisement (NFR) earnings through various means like Mobile assets, OOH,
RDN, PMBJK, NINFRIS, ATMs and other means of Advertisement at Railway
station premises and trains. NWR has earned Rs.1.64 cr. for the month of
August’24 from the head of Commercial Publicity and Advertisement/NFR.
• Jaipur Division
✓ One Contract was awarded for the revolving glow ball tower at Sikar for an
amount of Rs 1,60,060/ Per Annum.
✓ One Contract was awarded for Plastic Bottle Crushing Machine (PBCM) at
Alwar, Rewari, Bandikui, Kishangarh & Phulera Railway Stations for an
amount of Rs 1,70,050 /- per annum.
✓ One Contract was awarded for a Plastic Bottle Crushing Machine (PBCM) at
Sikar, Ringus, Dausa, Durgapura & Getor Jagatpura Railway Station for an
amount of Rs 56,020 /- per annum.
✓ One Contact was awarded for Glow Sign Board at Dausa Station for an
amount of Rs 2,90,020/- per annum.
✓ One Contact was awarded for Glow Sign Board at Bandikui Station for an
amount of Rs 2,70,040/- per annum.
✓ One Contact was awarded for Glow Sign Board at Phulera Station for an
amount of Rs 2,90,020 /- per annum.
✓ One contract was awarded for vinyl wrapping for Train No 22977/78 (JP-JU-
JP) for an amount of Rs 20, 80,100/- per annum.
✓ One contract was awarded for setting up Pradhan Mantry Bhartiya
Janaushdhi Kendra (PMBJK) at Durgapura Railway station for an amount of
Rs 2010/- per annum.
✓ One contract was awarded for advertisement on Unipole LC Gate No.
74,60,62 (AWR, RE Section) for an amount of Rs 1,21,240/- per annum.
✓ One contract was awarded for advertisement on Unipole LC Gate No.
131,229and 243 (JP-FL Section) for an amount of Rs 1, 21,000/- per annum.
✓ One contract was awarded for advertisement on Unipole LC Gate No.
90,91,92 (JP-SIKR Section) for an amount of Rs 1,71,000/- per annum.
• Jodhpur Division
✓ One contract was awarded for 02 Battery Operated Vehicle at Ren Railway
Station for amount of Rs 25,000/- Per Annum.
✓ One contract was awarded for Rail Coach Restaurant at Degana Railway
Station for an amount of Rs 2,51,00/- per annum.
✓ One contract was awarded for the operation and maintenance of AC waiting
hall at Barmer station for an amount of Rs 7,03,010/- per annum.
• Bikaner Division
✓ One contract was awarded for advertisement in the circulating area LC Gate
No. 161 at Kalanwali for an amount of Rs 63,630/- per annum.
✓ One contract was awarded for vinyl wrapping on Train No 22475/76 (HSR-
CBE Weekly) for an amount of Rs 6,31,000/- per annum.
6. PSR/TSR (पीएसआर/टीएसआर)

➢ Redistribution of Posts: - GM has accorded sanction of total 384 posts (Assistant
Bridge-07, Assistant TRD-107, Assistant C & W-71, Assistant S&T-36, HA-14,
Pointsman-38, Trackman-72 & TADK-39) of level-1 redundant category for
redistribution to other essential categories.
➢ Technical Scholarship: A total 67 nos. of Technical Scholarships have been granted
for higher education to the wards of Railway Employees and during the year total
of Rs.12,06,000/- have been spent for these scholarships @ Rs.18000/- per
scholarship.
➢ Independence Day Celebration: -The 78th Independence Day was celebrated at the
Headquarters office in a befitting manner. The National flag was hoisted by the
General Manager followed by a cultural Programme.
➢ Partition Horrors Remembrance Day: -The event was celebrated in a befitting
manner with full fervor on 14th August’24. In the event, 15 Live and 25 digital
Exhibitions, displaying the Role of Railways in partition was held.
➢ Har Ghar Tiranga: - Under the aegis of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” to encourage
people to hoist flag in the houses to mark the 77th year of India’s independence, a
total of 38649 nos. of Railway Employees hoisted the Flags at home and creatives
were displayed on 32 Stations and 43 digital screens over NWR and also uploaded
26921 selfies with Tiranga on various locations of NWR.
➢ माह के दौरान ददनाांक 28.08.2024 को नगर राजभाषा कार्ाान्वर्न सदमदि, जर्परु की छमाही बैठक
आर्ोदजि की गई। इस बैठक में नगर के कें द्रीर् कार्ाालर्ों के सदस्र्ों ने भाग दलर्ा। बैठक के दौरान
नराकास स्िर पर प्रकादिि होने वाली वादषाक दहदां ी पदिका “दपाण” जारी की गई। इसी क्रम में नगर
िील्ड में दवजेिा रहे ‘क’ वगा िथा ‘ख’ वगा के कें द्रीर् कार्ाालर्ों को चल वैजांर्िी िील्ड व प्रिदस्ि पि
प्रदान दकए गए ।
10. Swachhata (स्वच्छता)

➢ Daily checks are being conducted against littering cases at Platforms, yards
and Railway premises under the Indian Railway (Penalties for activities
affecting cleanliness at Railway Premises) Rules 2012. During August’24,
total of 1913 cases were identified and Rs. 2.36 lakhs were collected from
defaulters.
➢ During the month 6500 saplings were planted over NWR. A cleanliness drive
with a special focus on drain cleaning due to monsoon season was conducted
by JP division.
➢ New posters have been provided at Udaipur, Bhilwara, Beawar, Falna & Abu
Road Railway Stations to encourage passengers about cleanliness.
11. Steps taken to improve customer interface

➢ The experimental stoppage of train number 20983/84 (Bhuj-Delhi Sarai
Rohilla-Bhuj) was inaugurated by Hon’ble MP Jalore, Shri Lumba Ram at
Pindwara station over Ajmer division on 17.08.2024 in presence of various
public representatives and officers from the division.
➢ On 11.08.2024, Under the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan, an Indian flag rally
was organised by Hon’ble MLA Marwar, Shri Kesaram Choudhary on train
number 09695 from Marwar to Khamli Ghat station.
➢ The extension has been granted to M/S Ambuja Cement Ltd. Gati Shakti
Multi-Modal Cargo Terminal (MAMM) served by Marwar Mundwa over
Jodhpur Division for a further period of 6 months i.e up to 16.02.25.
➢ The extension has been granted to M/S Wonder Cement Ltd. Gati Shakti
Multi-Modal Cargo Terminal (WCGS) served by SONU Station over
Jodhpur Division for a further period of 6 months i.e. up to 28.02.25.
➢ In the month of August’24, to ensure smooth ticket distribution in Gogamedi
Mela started w.e.f. 19.08.2024, four additional ticket counters and one
inquiry counter have been opened at Gogamedi station. Additionally, two
counters at Sadulpur station have been opened. In addition to above, for the
convenience of passengers, 10 (pairs) special trains are being operated and
two trains have been given temporary stoppage at Gogamedi station for Mela
period.
➢ During the Mela period in August’24, the Bikaner division received 1.93 Cr.
as additional revenue (Gogamedi- Rs. 1.46 Cr., Sadulpur Rs. 0.48 Cr.). In
addition to the above Rs. 2.02 Lakh earned through ticket-less passengers.
➢ The temporary stoppage has been given for the devotees in 4 pairs of trains at
Parsneu station on 23-24th August 2024 during Shri Balaji Dadoji Maharaj
mela organized at Parsneu.
➢ During the month, 24 Special trains (106 trips) originated from NWR which
facilitated 1.39 Lakh passengers and fetched revenue of Rs. 12.10 Cr.
➢ During the month, 1459 additional coaches were attached in well-patronized
trains to clear the extra rush. Revenue of Rs. 5.19 Cr. earned on this account.
12.Digital Initiatives (डिजजटल पहल)

➢ A total of 666 Nos. of E-Inspections have been issued in NWR.
➢ To boost digital payment share, QR code devices are commissioned at all UTS and
PRS counters over NWR. It makes the ticket-buying procedure smoother and more
efficient for passengers using QR code devices through any UPI application.
