READING The most disappointing vacation ever!
Last year my wife and I decided to go on vacation to Girardot. One of our friends
recommended a hotel she found on the internet. The advertisement said: “we have
the lowest prices, amazing service, and the most comfortable rooms for the most

relaxing vacation ever”. We made our reservation and were convinced we would have
a great time in the warm weather of Girardot. Wrong! It was completely
disappointing! The most boring vacation of our lives! The hotel was located in one of
the most polluted areas in town. The smell was terrible. We slept on the most
uncomfortable beds in the world. The service was terrible. No TV, no air conditioning,
no swimming pool! We decided to check out and go back home to Bogota. I was
shocked at how much we had to pay; they charged in dollars not pesos. We didn’t
have any money left to do anything. We were so frustrated! The worst vacation ever!
