Title: Knowing Jesus
Characters:
1. Narrator 2. Young Seeker 3. Jesus 4. Teacher 5. Disciple
Scene 1
Narrator:
In a time of questioning and seeking truth, a young soul sits alone, longing to know the one
called Jesus.
Young Seeker (looking up):
Who is Jesus? People say He is a great teacher, a prophet, a friend. But... who is He really?
Narrator:
The question that has echoed through centuries still stirs hearts today. With a gentle voice, a
figure approaches — the Teacher.
Scene 2
Young Seeker:
Are you Jesus?
Teacher (smiling):
No, but I can help you know Him. Jesus is not merely a man of history; He is the Living Word, the
Son of God. He came to show us the way to the Father. Tell me, why do you seek Him?
Young Seeker (earnestly):
I want to know if He is real. I want to know if He can change my life.
Teacher:
To know Jesus is to experience His love, His truth, and His power. Come, let me introduce you
to someone who walked with Him.
Scene 3:
Disciple:
I followed Him. I heard Him speak words that made the blind see, the broken whole. He called
me by name, and I left everything to follow.
Young Seeker:
What did He teach?
Disciple (smiling gently):
He taught love — love your enemies, love your neighbor, love the least of these. But more than
His teachings, it was His life. He lived what He spoke, and He died to give us life.
Scene 4
Young Seeker (whispering):
Jesus...?
Jesus:
Yes, I am here. I have always been here. You have searched for me in words and stories. But I
am not just to be known through knowledge; I am to be known in your heart.
Young Seeker (trembling):
How can I know you?
Jesus (gently reaching out):
Come to me. Open your heart. Trust in me, for I am the way, the truth, and the life. And if you
seek me, you will find me.
The Young Seeker reaches out and grasps His hand.
Narrator:
In that moment, the seeker became one who knows. For to truly know Jesus is to experience
His presence, to trust His word, and to walk in His love.
Young Seeker (quietly):
Now, I know You.
Jesus (smiling):
And I have known you all along.
