ABSTRACT
Glucosuria happens when you have glucose, or other sugars like lactose, fructose, or galactose,
in your urine. This is sometimes also called glycosuria.Glucosuria, glucose in the urine, results
from the glomerular filtration of more glucose than the renal tubule can absorb. In this research
work 50 urine samples were collected from both genders of ages ranging from 16 - 30 and tested
using combi-2 reagent strip method. The result obtained from this research work shows no
presence of glucose (glucosuria or glycosuria) from the different samples taken from both
gender of the aforementioned ranges.
