MS office is an application software which was developed and published by Microsoft in the year
1990.
It is widely used in the business and education sector through which we can create, view, edit

MS word is a professional application software which comes from MS office. It provide a facility to

● GO TO START BUTTON
● Not use all program
● Then go to accessories
● Then choose MS office command
● As result MS word command will be open.
File tab
The file tab replaces the office button from word 2007. you can click it to check the backstafe view.
You need this when you need to open or save files create new document print a document etc.
Quick access toolbar
This you will find kind just above the fill tab. this is a resetting place for the most frequently used
command in word.
Ribbon
Ribbon contain commands originated in the components
● Tabs : this appear across the top of the ribbon of contain group of related commands. Home,
insert, page layout, are example of ribbon levels
● Group : They organize related commands each group name appear below the groups on the
ribbon.
examples: group of command related to font, group of command related to alignment etc.
● Command : command appear within each group a mentioned above .
Title
This lies in the middle and the top of the window. title bar show the program and document titles.
Rulers
Word has two rulers a horizontal ruler and a vertical ruler. The horizontal ruler appears just down the
ribbon and is used to set margins. The vertical ruler appears on the left edge of the word window and
is used to guage the vertical position of elements on the page.
Help
The help icon can be used to get word related help anytime you like. This provide nice ideas on
various subject related to word.
Zoom control
Zoom control let's use zoom in for a closer look at your text. the zoom control consist of a slider that
you can slide left or right to zoom in or zoom out. you can click the + button to increase or decrease
the zoom factor.
View button
The group of 5 buttons located to the left of the zoom control near the bottom of the screen.
Print layout view
This display pages exactly as they will appear when printed.
Full screen reading view
This gives a full screen view of the document.
Web layout view
This shows how a document appear when viewed by a web browser such as Internet explorer.
Outline view
This let's you work outline established using word standard heading style.
Draft view
This format text as it appears on the printed page with a few exception. for example headers and
footers are not shown
Document area
This is the area where you type.
Status bar
This displays the document information as well as the insertions point location from left to right, this
bar contain the total number of pages and words in the document.
Dialogue box launcher
This appear very small area in the lower right corner of many group on the ribbon by clicking this
button open a dialogue box or task pain this provide more option about the group.
File menu
New
This command is used to take a new blank document in current application.
1. Go to file menu
2. Now choose new command
3. Then choose blank document command
4. Now choose create command
5. As a result new document will be open
Open
This command is used to open any safe file in current document.
1. First prepare your document
2. Now go to file menu
3. Choose on open command
4. As a result open command dialogue box will be displayed
5. Now choose your or any other safe file name
6. Then click in open
7. As result your save file will be open
Save
This command is used to save any current document for the long time.
1. First prepare your document
2. now go to file menu
3. And choose on save command
4. As a result save command dialogue box be displayed
5. Now put the save file name
6. Then click on save button
7. As a result your current file will be saved
Save as
This command is used to receive any save file for the long time.
1. First open any save file
2. Then do some work
3. Now go to file menu
4. And select save as command
5. As a result save as command dialogue box will be displayed
6. Now put the another file name
7. Then press safe button
8. As a result your current file will be resaved
Print
This command is used to print any current document
1. First prepare your document
2. Then go to file menu
3. Now click on print option
4. As a result print command dialogue box will be displayed
5. Then click on print button
6. As a result your current document will be print
Encrypt document
This command is used to apply the password in current document
1. First prepare your document
2. Now go to file menu
3. And click on prepare command
4. Then left click on encrypt document command
5. As a result incrypt document command dialogue box will be displayed
6. Now put the password 1234
7. And also put the reinter password 1234
8. Then press ok
9. As a result password will be applied in your current document
10. Now save it
11. Then close it ( ctrl + w )
12. Now open your save file
