Each year, at the AkzoNobel Global Aesthetic Centre in the

Netherlands, we draw on extensive research to identify the
Dulux Colour of the Year - a definitive colour that matches
the mood of the moment. We then use this to create colour
palettes that will help transform people’s living spaces
into homes that respond to their needs. The research has
indicated that people around the world are experiencing a
renewed sense of optimism and purpose. There’s a desire to
reach out, engage with others, to make things better and ‘be
the change’. People are ready to seize the moment.
