When you log on to
the SAP S/4HANA

screen you see is the
SAP Fiori launchpad.
It gives you the
relevant information
that you need at a
glance and centers
on your needs and
how you work.
To learn more about
how to use the SAP
Fiori launchpad,
follow this interactive
tutorial.
The SAP Fiori
launchpad is a shell
that hosts SAP Fiori
apps, and provides
the apps with
services such as
navigation,
personalization,
embedded support,
and application
configuration.
The SAP Fiori

entry point to SAP
Fiori apps on mobile
and desktop devices.

spaces are displayed
in the navigation bar
where you can switch
between the different
available spaces.
A space holds a
page. The page
shows you the apps
that are relevant for
your daily work. On a
page the apps are
clustered into
different sections.
Also, see the tutorial
Personalizing Spaces
and Pages.
The SAP Fiori
launchpad shell bar is

The Pages section is
divided into two parts:
  • News: The
      news tile can be
      configured by
      administrators
      and is switched
      off by default.

      relevant news
      and other
      updates. The
      size of the tile
      adjusts
      depending on
      the number of
      favorite pages
      added in this
      section. If no
      pages are

      news tile spans
      the entire
      section. Based
