Knitted projects don't have to be complicated to be beautiful, in fact
sometimes the beauty comes not just from the stitches, but from the
colours and yarn you choose.

This shawl is actually the first shawl I've ever knitted, I've definitely always
been more drawn to scarves than shawls (I can never seem to get their
triangular shape to sit nicely around my neck!)

I knitted this asymmetrical shawl for my daughter in this fun happy rainbow
cake from CiceBebe (shade 110 Rainbow), and she's already whisked it away
as soon as I finished filming the tutorial - I definitely class a pre-teens
approval as a win!

This shawl can be knitted in any weight yarn you like, you will just end up
with a thicker, or airier shawl depending on whether you choose a heavier or
lighter yarn. There are no decreases in this shawl - the cast off edge forms
the 3rd side of the triangle.

Ideally for an adult sized shawl you want to knit until the shawl measures
150cm along its longest edge (the one with the eyelets), but don't let that
stop you from knitting a bigger version if you really want to be snuggly when
wearing it.
