Intellectual properties when applied for obtaining the legal rights from a competent
authority is registered under the provision of Law. Usually the registration is valid for a
definite period within which the inventor/applicant is the exclusive owner of the intellectual
property. The ownership ceases after the registration term gets over.

Validity of IPR

An intellectual property needs registration for obtaining


the legal right
by a cormpetent authority.

Such kind of legal rights are given for a definite period by the competent
authority. The owner of IP can exercise right for this period only.
