医疗人士/生活中精彩有趣的老人
The old person I want to talk about is a 70-year-old man who is a
doctor of Chinese medicine. He is quite skinny and has a humpback,
with silver hair and long eyebrow hair that give him a distinguished
look.

What's interesting about him is that he doesn't have a settled place

to live. Instead, he travels around different parts of China. During his
travels, he not only admires the beautiful scenery and experiences
the local cultures but also treats diseases using his medical skills.

He comes from a family of doctors, so he learned the art of Chinese

medicine from his father and grandfather. Their knowledge and
expertise have been passed down through the generations.

I have a personal experience with him when I was seven years old. I
had a stomachache because I ate over 10 popsicles right after
waking up in the morning. My mom took me to visit him, and he
carefully checked my tongue, pressed my stomach, and felt my
pulse. He noticed my nervousness and comforted my mom, assuring
her that everything was fine. He then turned toward me and
whispered that we had a little secret - I shouldn't eat too much ice in
the morning. After taking his medicine for several days, I completely
recovered.

I not only appreciated his great medical skill but also his love for his
patients. He was considerate and kind, always going the extra mile
to make sure his patients felt comfortable and cared for.

 What do old people often do in their daily lives?

three categories. First, enjoy their lives. travel, dancing, fishing,
practice hobbies in their daily lives. relaxation is good way to enjoy
their aging life. Second, after retirement, they worked for their
children, look after their grandchildren, cook, clean the house. For
example, my aunt has to move to another city to take care of her
granddaughter because heir son and daughter-in-law need to work.
Third, work. find their sense of purpose and achievement in their
career. For example, my math teacher in senior high school is over
seventy. After his retirement, the school reemployed him.
 Why do some people live with their parents?
There are two main reasons. For one, senior citizens need to depend
on their children because they lost the ability to take care of
themselves. for example, Alzheimer or paralyzed. For two, children
need to rely on their parents because they can’t afford to buy a new
house or rent an apartment. For instance, my cousin, low salary,
high house price, loan is burden.
 Can old people and their grandchildren learn from each other?
Definitely, old people and their grandchildren can learn a lot from
each other. Older people can learn how to use high-tech products,
slang, positive attitude from their grandchildren. While, young
people can learn life experience, useful skills, wisdom, sophisticated
perspective from older citizens. For instance, I used to live with my
grandparents for three years. I taught them how to use mobile
phones and watch TV. at the same time, whenever I encountered
some interpersonal problems, I always turned to them and asked for
advice.
 What are the benefits of elder people living alone?
More freedom and independence. living with others mean that older
people need to adapt to young people’s lifestyle. For example,
young people tend to stay up late and sleep late in the morning. on
the contrast, older people have a little sleep. Moreover, peace.
raising children means business and noisiness during their 30s and
50s. Living alone allows them enjoy a peaceful life. However, live
alone can be challenging and dangerous because of lack of care. For
example, heart attack, no one knows.
 Do older people prefer to stay at home or go outside?
They prefer to go outside because they can do fun activities: talk
with people around their age; go for a walk; mental health and
physical health. For example, in China, after dinner, old people
gathered in a park, dancing, singing, recall back their golden times.
However, people who can’t move around easily prefer to stay at
home.

重新联络的老朋友/很开心认识的人/读书迷
The old friend I want to talk about is my college classmate. We used
to live in the dormitories opposite each other. She is of average
height, slim, with curly hair. She is a gentle, considerate, and
amiable person.
After graduation, we ended up working in different cities, and
slowly, we lost touch. We didn't have many common topics to talk
about, and our lives took different paths.
However, one day, I made a mistake and accidentally sent a file to
our previous class group. It was she who reminded me to recall it.
That small incident brought us back in contact again. We started
chatting and catching up on each other's lives.
Last month, she came to my city for a vacation, and we decided to
meet up for dinner. It was such a wonderful reunion. We had no
sense of unfamiliarity and got along just as well as we did back in
college.
Unfortunately, after that meeting, we lost touch again. But, I didn't
feel upset about it. I believe that true friendship doesn't require
constant effort to maintain. I know that she's there for me, and
whenever I need her, she'll be by my side.

In conclusion, reconnecting with my old friend was a heartwarming

experience. Despite the distance and lack of communication, our
friendship remains strong. True friendship doesn't fade away easily.
 Is it better to have a lot of friends than just a few friends?
A few friends is better. quality is more important than quantity. For
example, I only have three or four close friends. Whenever I needed
them, they always be there fore me. However, too many friends
consume time and energy to maintain the friendship.

 Would having just a few friends limit your horizon?

Yes, a few friends would limit my horizon. the reason why people
become friend is because they share similar interests, perspectives.
For example, when I turn to my friends for advice, they give me
similar solution. However, more friends you have, more different
perspectives you will get.

 Do you think you are good at maintaining good relationship with

other?
I am not good at maintain relationship with others. When I busy with
work or personal life, I forget to contact with my friends even my
parents. Only when I have problems, I would ask them for help. For
example, I hadn’t talked to one of my close friend for almost a year,
but when I I think good relationship requires maintenance, so I need
to improve this.

 Why do old people lose touch with each other?/Why do we have

to give up some old friends?
Mostly because they live in different areas, so they can not meet
with each other very often, and online communication is not so
effective. Secondly because they lose commonality. colleagues may
lose touch when they don’t work in the same company, classmates
may lose touch when they graduated. For example, I have lost touch
with my friends after graduation, and now she lives in shanghai, I
live in Hanghzhou, it’s difficult for us to hangout.

 Why do people need to make new friends?

Firstly because they lost touch with old friends, and friendship is
necessary for mental health, so they need to make new friends. Or
they are in a new environment, making friends help them fit it the
environment more easily.

The person I am happy to know is my college classmate. We used to

live in the dormitories opposite each other. She is of average height,
slim, with curly hair. She is a gentle, considerate, and amiable
person.

There are two main reasons why I am happy to know her. Firstly,
she is always willing to help. Since I couldn't ride a bicycle, she
would often give me rides on her electric bike. She's just the type of
person who is always ready to lend a hand.

Secondly, I have learned a lot from her. she is a bookworm, she has
read a lot of books whether they are Chinese classics or foreign
literature, ancient poetry or modern fiction. Her extensive reading
has given her a broad knowledge base. Whenever I encountered
difficult problems, she would always be able to help me solve them.
Her vast reading experience allows her to approach and resolve
problems from different perspectives. She is truly a role model for
me.

After graduation, we ended up working in different cities, and

slowly, we lost touch. We didn't have many common topics to talk
about, and our lives took different paths. However, I really miss the
time we spent together in college. Those were truly unforgettable
memories for me.

 How can children feel happy?

I think even a little things can make children happy. a candy,

interesting storybooks, parent’s accompany, a trip to Disney’s land,
play games, a toy all of these things can make children happy
easily. For example, I spend five minutes play peekaboo with my
nephew, he giggled for a long time.

 What’s the difference between adults’ and children’s happiness?

The threshold of adults’ happiness is much higher than children.

even a little things can make children happy. a candy, interesting
storybooks, parent’s accompany, a trip to Disney’s land, play
games, a toy all of these things can make children happy easily.
However, much more magnificent things will make adults happy, for
example, marriage, promotion, giving birth or win a lottery.

 Do you think everyone shares a similar definition of happiness?

The definition of happiness is varied because everyone has different

life purpose. For example, ambitious people define happiness as
career success, financial freedom, high social status. On the other
hand, easily content people define it as happy family, moderate
living standard

 Some people say that living in a happy city is boring. What do

you think?
 Which do you think is more important in the workplace,
happiness or salaries?
 How can companies improve employee happiness

books, ranging from Chinese classics to foreign literature, and from
ancient poetry collections to modern fiction.

I believe there are two reasons why she enjoys reading so much.
Firstly, reading has allowed her to acquire a broad knowledge base,
which enables her to approach and solve problems from different
perspectives. This has given her the ability to think critically and
creatively, making her a resourceful individual.

Secondly, books serve as a sanctuary for her, providing a means of

relaxation and escape from reality. In the pages of a book, she can
immerse herself in different worlds. It is a place where she can find
solace and comfort.

After graduation, we ended up working in different cities, and

slowly, we lost touch. However, her love for reading continues to
inspire me. She serves as a role model and shows me the value of
continuous learning,

喜欢做手工的人/固执己见的人/喜欢买便宜货的人/鼓励你达成目标的人
1. When it comes to people who love making things by hand, I have
to talk about my mom.
2. My mom has this incredible talent for making all sorts of things
by hand, but her specialty is hand-knitted scarves, gloves, and
sweaters.
3. There are a couple of reasons why my mom loves doing this. I
think it has a lot to do with her upbringing. You see, when she was
growing up, China was going through some tough economic times.
Her family didn't have a lot of money, so she had to learn to be
thrifty. Knitting became her way of creating something beautiful
and useful out of almost nothing. Plus, she gets such a sense of
accomplishment when a ball of yarn turn into a gorgeous sweater.
4. I absolutely adore the hand-knitted items my mom makes, and
it's not just because they're warm and cozy. They also hold a special
emotional significance. When I wear a scarf or gloves made by my
mom, it feels like she is right there with me, accompanying me
through the cold winter days. It's a beautiful reminder of her love
and care.
5. And she decided to turn her hobby into a business and started
selling her handmade crafts online. It's inspiring to see her starting
a new venture at her age and becoming an entrepreneur. I couldn't
be prouder of her.
6. In summary, my mom is incredibly skillful and has a strong
hands-on ability

总:When it comes to people who love buying cheap stuff, I can't help
but think of my mom.
1. Let me start by telling you about my mom. She's a homemaker.
Although she doesn't have career but she does understand the
value of money and she knows earning money is not easy
2. Now, what does she like to buy? Well, she's not into luxury items.
She's more into everyday stuff, like clothing, cleaning supplies, and
snacks. She's always on the lookout for a good bargain on these
items.
3. So, where does she like to buy things? She loves browsing
through online shopping platforms and finding great deals. She
knows all the tricks to grab discounts with coupons and make the
most out of her money.
4. Now, let's talk about why she likes cheap goods. Well, I think it
has a lot to do with her upbringing. You see, when she was growing
up, China was going through some tough economic times. Her
family didn't have a lot of money, so she had to learn to be thrifty.
And that mindset has stuck with her all these years.
5. But sometimes, I think she gets a bit too carried away with the
idea of cheap goods. She's easily swayed by sellers who use smooth
words to convince her that low price also means good quality. And
unfortunately, that's not always the case.

The person who has always encouraged me to achieve my goals is

my mom. My mom has this incredible talent for making all sorts of
things by hand, and her specialty is hand-knitted scarves, gloves,
and sweaters. A few years ago, she decided to turn her hobby into
a business and started selling her handmade crafts online. It's
inspiring to see her starting a new venture at her age and becoming
an entrepreneur from scratch.

Seeing my mom's determination and passion made me realize that

age, gender, or any other societal limitations should never hold us
back from pursuing our dreams. Encouraged by her, I decided to
explore my own interests.

I took it upon myself to self-study child psychology, read numerous

professional books, and even enrolled in online courses to gain more
knowledge in the field. Eventually, all my hard work paid off, and I
successfully became an early childhood teacher at a reputable
educational institution.

Not only am I proud of my mom for her braveness and

determination, but I am also incredibly grateful to her. She led by
example and taught me the importance of challenging myself and
pursuing dreams fearlessly. Her influence has shaped me into the
person I am today.
