Re: Request for confirmation for the applicability of the Micro, Small & Medium
Enterprises Development Act, 2006
A you are aware, the Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises Development Act, 2006
was introduced w.e.f 02.10.2006 under the provision of the Act:
The Enterprises engaged in manufacturer/production of Goods (pertaining to an
industry specified in Industries Development and Regulation Act, 1951) or engaged
in providing or rendering of services
The Definition of the enterprises as specified by the act is as follows:

Please note change in terms of payment w.e.f 01.04.2023 s under:
“On receipt of goods or services, we will pay the amount within 45 days
from the date of acceptance of our liability of the payment against the
supply”
The date of acceptance will deemed to be 10 days from the date of receipt of
supply of goods or services, in case there is no communication of acceptance from
our side and in any case not exceeding 15 days from the date of supply of goods or
services.
We therefore request you to fill in the “CONFIRMATION” portion given below and
return one copy of this agreement duly signed and stamped by you along with self -
attested copy of Udyam Aadhar of your entity or concern and provide to us before
15.02.2024 via post or email to us.
Kindly Note that in case aforesaid certificate is not enclosed with the confirmation,
it will be assumed that your origination does not fall under the said act.
