National:

Chief Justice of Supreme Court of Pakistan.

Kashmir Park by Karachi Administrator Murtaza Wahab.
4. PSL season 7 of 2022 was held in Pakistan. It is won by Lahore
Qalandars by beating Multan Sultans. It ended on 27th
February.
5. Pakistan celebrates February 27, as Operation Swift Retort. On
this day of 2019, Pakistan shot down Indian Jet and captured
Indian Airforce pilot named Abhinandhan.
6. On February 24, 2022, Zahir Jaffar was sentenced to death by a
sessions court in Islamabad for murdering Noor Muqaddam.
7. Prime Minister Imran Khan paid two day visit to Russia on 23-

1. Russia launched invasion in Ukraine on February 24, 2022. Russia

2. 15 February, 2022:Canadian Prime Minister invoked Emergency
for the first time in 50 years because of Protests at the Canada-US
border of truckers.
3. “Nord Stream 2 natural gas pipeline” is 1200km long pipeline that
will provide gas to Germany from Russia. This gas pipeline will go
across Baltic Sea.
4. On 21st February, 2022: Israel appointed first muslim judge,
Khaled Kabub, to gain a permanent seat on the Supreme Court of
Israel.
5. On 21st February, 2022: Russia recognizes two separatists regions
of Ukraine, Luhansk and Donetsk, as independent.
6. On February 20,2022: Ethiopia will started producing power
through dam built on Blue Nile. 6500 Megawatt power will be
produced. Egypt and Sudan, being lower riparian countries, have
dispute with Ethiopia on construction of this dam. Prime
Mininster Abiy Ahmed of Ethiopia inaugurated this dam.
7. Winter Olympics 2022 were held in China from 4th to 20th
February, 2022. Norway won the most medals in Winter Olympics
2022.
8. Malaysia hosted the World Badminton Championship tournament
2022 from 15th to 20th February,2022.
9. 6th African Union-European Union summit was held in Brussels,
Belgium on 17 and 18 February, 2022.
10. Israel has become the first country in the world to allow
drones to fly in civilian airspace.
11. Gautam Adani has become the rich Asian as per Bloomberg
Billionaires Index. He has surpassed Ambani family. He is the
chairman of Adani Group that develop port infrastructure in India.

3. Opposition leaders submitted no confidence motion against Prime
Minister Imran Khan on 8th March 2022. Article 95 is invoked for
submitting vote of no-confidence against Prime Minister. 172 out
of 342 votes in National Assembly are required for majority
decision.
4. The State Bank of Pakistan has directed banks to employ at least
20% of women in the workforce by 2023.
5. Former President of Pakistan Rafiq Tarrar died on 7th March 2022.
6. March 4, 2022: First police station for women in Balochistan
opened.

Murmur. She is the second women President after Pratibha Patel.
Droupadi Murmu replaced Ramnath Kovind as President. She is
the 15th President of India.
4. Current Prime Minister of Sri Lanka is Dinesh Gunawardena. He is
serving as PM of Sri Lanka since 22nd July, 2022.
5. Current President of Sri Lanka is Ranil Wickremesinghe. He has
taken the post since 21st July, 2022.
6. On July 15, 2022, Saudi Arabia opened its airspace for all carriers
in special gesture to Israel.
7. On July 14, 2022, USA and Israel signed Security pact in order to
stand as a single front against Iran. Yair Lapid (PM of Israel) and
Joe Biden (US President) signed the pact.

mentioned Pakistan as the lowest in rankings for women to stay.

to be the next Secretay General of OPEC (Organization of

established in 1960 in Baghdad, Iraq.
11. On July 31st, 2022, Al-Qaeda leader Ayman-al-Zawahiri was
killed in drone strike by USA in Kabul, Afghanistan.

August 2022:

International:

1. On August 9th, 2022, Commonwealth games 2022 start in


Birmingham, England. Australia won the most medals in
Commonwealth games 2022. England won the most silver medals
in Commonwealth games 2022.
2. Arshad Nadeem won the first gold of Commonwealth games 2022
for Pakistan in July 2022 since 1962 in Javelin Throw.
3. In Commonwealth games 2022, overall Pakistan finished at 18.
4. 8th August,2022 marks the day for 55th ASEAN session held in
Cambodia. ASEAN wasa etblished in 1967. It has 10 members.
5. Walmart topped the Fortune Global 500 list 2022.
6. South Korea successfully launched its first lunar orbiter named
Danur on 5th August, 2022.
7. On 9th August,2022, Iran launched space satellite named KHYAAM
with the help of Kazakhstan and Iran.
8. On 15th August, 2022, Taliban stages a victory day parade after
ruling of one year over Afghanistan. Taliban took control of
Afghanistan on 15th August, 2021.
9. On 17th August, 2022, Israel and Turkiye announced to restore ties
and return their ambassadors to each other’s countries. Turkiye
was the first muslim country to recognize Israel in 1949.

Balochistan. Lt. Generak Sarfraz Ali, Corps Commander XII
Corps. Helicopter crashed near the city of Lasbela due to bad
weather.

under which Japan would provide $9 million to Pakistan for
upgrading the mechanical system for sewerage and drainage
system in Multan.

September 2022:

International

1. India will host 15th edition of 2023 FIH Hockey world cup on 13 to
29 January, 2023.
2. Queen Elizabeth II died on 8th September ,2022. She ruled as a
monarch for 70 years, 7 months, and 2 days. She died at the age
of 96.
3. King Charles ascended the throne on 8th September, 2022. He is
now the king of 14 realms of commonwealth nations. He is
Charles III. His name is Charles Phillip Arthur George.
4. Albania broke diplomatic ties with Iran on 7th September, 2022
due to alleged cyber attack launched by Iran. Washington vowed
to take revenge because of attack on NATO ally Albania.
5. According to report released by World Meteorological
Organization (WMO) on 7th September, 2022, surface ozone levels
