Dual diameter inspection tools
Operator: Messoyakhaneftegaz, Russia
Our company performed in-line inspection with 16/20" and 8/10" dual
diameter tools (multichannel caliper and MFL-A tools) for a customer in
Russia
Dual diameter tool is an ILI tool capable of independently adjusting to the
size of the inner cavity of the pipeline constructed of pipes of different
diameters, i.e. carrying out in-line inspection of pipelines with variable
diameters in one run.
The full range of equipment was subjected to adaptation: cleaning pigs,
calipers, MFL series of inspection tools.
And our company did an excellent job!
The inspection tools successfully ran the entire pipeline distance, data were
obtained for all segments and recorded in full.

SPECIALIST EQUIPMENT
Experience in high temperatures
Operator: Lukoil, Italy
Our company carried out in-line inspection using 12" magnetic inspection
tools (MFL-A) for a customer in Italy.
The site and equipment to be used on the project was analysed prior to the
work.
Pipeline inspection was particularly difficult as the temperature values at
the pipeline segment exceeded the design standard values. The values
ranged from +88°С to +96 °С along the pipeline distance.
And our company did an excellent job!
The inspection tool withstood the high temperatures, data were obtained
for all segments and recorded in full

SPECIALIST EQUIPMENT
Experience in passing Y - shaped tees
Operator: PTT Exploration and Production, Malaysia
Our company performed in-line inspection using 8" and 20" calipers and magnetic inspection tools (MFL-A)
for a customer in Malaysia.
Analysis of the documentation revealed that the difficulty of performing the work was in passing a design
feature, namely the Y-shaped tee. The fact that the pipeline was offshore substantially increased the risks.
To assess the passage of the Y-piece, a section containing this structural element with in-line equipment
inside was simulated. The simulated passage proved that the inspection tools shall safely inspect these
sections without damaging the pipelines
A test rig with the Y-piece simulation was made at NGP LLC facility and pull-through tests were performed
with the equipment set
The customer was provided with an assessment of the passage of complex sections by inspection tools and
a decision on the passage of the tools was made jointly.
And our company did an excellent job!
The inspection tools successfully ran through complex structural elements of pipelines, data were obtained
for all segments and recorded in full.
