The MUN, Model United Nations is an academic simulation of the United Nations
where students play the role of delegates from different countries and attempt to solve
real world issues with the policies and perspectives of their assigned country.
Objective: It not only involves young people in the study and discussion of global
issues, but also encourages the development of skills useful throughout their lives,
such as research, writing, public speaking, problem solving, conflict resolution and
compromise and cooperation.
Model UN helps students develop the crucial, career-relevant skills.
Models help students build long-lasting connections.
Model UNs help students expand their views, get focus on things that
matter.
While getting in touch with cultures and languages different from their own an
exchange happens which makes us better perceive the other which finally results
in getting the bigger picture of our surrounding.
