Detailed program

DAY 1: Apt Marrakech – Marrakech


Arrival to Marrakech at 17:55, with wizzair, W6 2459 from Budapest . Pick up
group, transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Marrakech.

DAY 2: Marrakech – Casablanca – Rabat


Departure to Casablanca, visit of the economic capital of Morocco doted by the
biggest African port. Guided visit of the residential area of Anfa, the Mohamed
V square, the Habous district, the Royal Palace, exterior visit of Hassan II
Mosque and corniche, then departure to Rabat.

DAY 3: Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fes


After breakfast, visit of Rabat the old medina and it’s picturesque Kasbah of the
Oudaya. A highlight will surely be the well-preserved minaret, la Tour Hassan and
Mohammed V’s Mausoleum.
At present kingdom of Morocco’s capital, Rabat was built by Orthodox Muslim
Arabs who came from Spain and decided to settle near the Chellah necropolis
whose origins stretch back to the Phoenician and Roman era. It was developed and
enhanced under the reign of the Almohade king Yacoub El Mansour, who had
elected Rabat to become its capital.
Rabat has always been present in the Moroccan history, as a heart of decision and
influence. It is a city with distinctive features, which inherited the rich Andalusian
patrimony brought by Moorish people, who had introduced refinement in the city.
Rabat symbolises the infinite variety of Morocco. Set in a rich, amber-coloured
landscape with distinctive trees, its elegance combines ancient history with
modern culture. Continue the visit of Meknes, then drive to the ruins of
Volubilis; at the foot of Jebel Zerhoun, lie the Roman ruins of Volubilis. The
remains of Volubilis, identified by Tissot in 1874, bear witness to the grandeur

DAY 4: Fes
After breakfast, the whole day will be devoted to discovering FEZ, the oldest of
the Imperial Cities, which is well known for its spiritual and educational
contributions to the Moroccan culture. Visit of Medersa Bouanania and the
medieval Medina. Lunch in a city restaurant then You will also explore the
famous souks where craftsmen still labor in the age-old oriental tradition,
continue sightseeing in the afternoon. diner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 5: Fes - Ifrane – Midelt – Erfoud


Breakfast, departure for Midelt via Immouzer du Kandar, a Berber village, Ifrane,
a delightful ski resort, and Azrou, a Berber village known for its handicraft
cooperative filled with wood carving and carpet weaving, Lunch free at a
leisure, Then continuation via the Ziz canyons a spectacular route Offering

DAY 6: Erfoud – Ourazazate


Sun rise in Merzouga Oasis by 4X4, return to Erfoud including a fossil

drive to Ouarzazate dinner and overnight .

DAY 7: Ourazazate - Marrakech


Departure for Taourirt Kasbah and Ait Ben Haddou village, the most spectacular

"Laurence of Arabia". Then continuation to Marrakech visit Koutoubia Mosque
Bahia Palace & Saadian Tombeaux, visit of the famous place Djemâa El Fna with

DAY 8: Marrakech – Apt Marrakech


After breakfast, continue visit of Menara Garden, Koutoubia Mosque and
afternoon proceed to the airport Wizzair flight W6 2460 departs to Budapest at
18:35.
