THE GEOTECHNICAL PARAMETERS USED IN THE DESIGN AND STABILITY OF STEEL SHEET PILES AND SOIL SLOPES WERE THE CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENT SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH ALL REQUIREMENTS OF SUBSECTION 311.3
BASED ON THE FINDINGS AT THE POINT OF EXPLORATION CONDUCTED BY TERMS CONCRETE TESTING AND ARE SUBJECTED TO
CONFIRMATION BASED ON THE CONDITION REVEALED DURING THE CONSTRUCTION PHASE OF THE PROJECT. VARIATIONS USUALLY
OCCUR WITHIN THE PRELIMINARY FINDINGS AND THE OBSERVATIONS SHALL BE EVALUATED AND A CORRESPONDING ALTERNATIVE
DESIGN MUST BE MADE IMMEDIATELY. THE FOLLOWING SOIL PARAMETERS WERE INITIALLY USED IN THE DESIGN BASED ON THE

7. EMBANKMENT :
EMBANKMENT MATERIALS SHALL MEET THE COMPACTION AND CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS SPECIFIED UNDER ITEM 1704-3 - RIVER
DPWH STANDARD SPECIFICATION AS VOLUME III (2019).
UNSUITABLE MATERIALS SHALL BE NOT USED AS FILLING MATERIALS SUCH AS:
1. ORGANIC SOILS SUCH AS PEAT AND MUCK CL
2. SOILS WITH LIQUID LIMIT EXCEEDING 80 AND OR/ PLASTICITY INDEX EXCEEDING 55 PROJECT ROAD
3. SOIL WITH NATURAL WATER EXCEEDING 100%
4. SOILS WITH VERY LOW DENSITY,800 Kg/m3 OR LOWER
