NOTICE FOR STATE SCHOLARSHIPS
Students can apply online different scholarships coming under Mukhyamantri Medhabi
Chhatra Protshahana Yojana (MMCPY) and other by visiting to scholarship.odisha.gov.in.
Last date to apply online for different scholarships are different, thus students are required
to visit the site regularly and apply much before the last date.
Different Schemes
1) e-Medhabruti UG Merit Scholarship
2) e-Medhabruti PG Merit Scholarship
3) Vyasakabi Fakir Mohan Bhasabruti (VFMB)
4) Gopabandhu Sikkya Sahayata Yojana (GSSY)
5) Nirman Shramik Kalyan Yojana (Edn Astt)
6) Post Matric Scholarship (PMS)
Restrictions:
i. Students pursuing any Self Financing Course are not eligible for e-Medhabruti
(U.G. / P.G. Merit) scholarships.
ii. One who applies for PMS can not apply e-Medhabruti Scholarships and vice
versa.
iii. Students already in receipt of scholarships under any other schemes
administered by the State or Central Govt. are also ineligible for e-Medhabruti.
iv. B.Ed., M.Ed. and Ph.D. students are also ineligible for e-Medhabruti.
v. Vyasakabi Fakir Mohan Bhasabruti (VFMB)- is only for students studying UG with
Odia honours or studying PG in Odia.
Requirements:-
a) You must have 75% of attendance for above scholarships.
b) Identity Proof: Must have a valid College I-card.
c) Income certificate: Of current fiscal year from Tahasildar/Add. Tahasildar
PMS – maximum income 2.5 lakhs/yr (for SC/ST/OBC/SEBC/EBC),
UG/PG Merit – maximum income 8 lakhs/yr (for SC/ST/OBC/SEBC/EBC)
d) Residency certificate : Must be a Permanent resident of Odisha, certificate must
be issued by Tahasildar/ Add. Tahasildar
e) Caste certificate: SC/ST/OBC – must be issued by Tahasildar/ Add. Tahasildar
EBC – need to submit a “Self declaration”
f) Mark sheet: PMS – must have secured more than 50% in last exam passed
(Except for SC & ST)
For UG merit- must have secured more than 55% in +2
For PG merit – must have secured more than 55% in UG
g) Pass book : Must be in student’s name only and linked to Aadhar.
h) Bonafied certificate: Boarder Certificate for hostellers (in proper format,
. available in the site for the students)
Steps to follow:
1. Check the detailed eligibility criteria in above site, register yourself and then apply.
2. You must have the Bank Account No. in your name only and must be operational.
3. On photocopy of your 1st page of passbook, write on its bottom your i) Department ii)
Name iii) Roll No. iv) Phone No. v) Bank A/C No. vi) IFSC vii) Aadhar No. viii) %age of
attendance till last month ix) Signature and take it signed from your HOD/Coordinator.
(HODs are here by requested not to accept forms of students having less than 75% of
attendance and to please pass their Roll No. & Name to scholarship section so that
those applications may be rejected, unless special considerations by head of institution)
4. Attach above signed 1st page of pass book and all other required self signed documents
(like photocopy of income/caste certificate, College ID, Aadhar, etc) to your form and
submit to your HOD/ Coordinator.
5. There is a register with your HOD/ Coordinator, write the data as asked there and put
your signature there. On top of your form write the same serial no. as in register and
mention your department name.
6. No one need to apply twice for the same scholarship, if found then both may be rejected.
7. If your form is not validated after one week of your submission, give the details of your
form, including the above serial no, the name of the scholarship etc., in the complaint
register kept in SAMS.
