FAQs post migration scenarios
Q1. Which all scheme codes are migrated to the new platform?
Ans. All Gold Loan accounts under scheme codes Agri-Allied (CAGLA), Direct Agri
(CAGLP), Non-Priority (CAGLN) and Flexi (CAGLF) will be migrated to DL
platform. Except Accounts under scheme code Gold Loan Overdraft (CAGLW)
will not be migrated.
Q2. Which accounts are excluded from migration in other schemes?
Ans. In following scenarios account will not be migrated:
a. Any account which is already overdue as on November 29, 2024
b. Any account which will become due as on December 31, 2024
c. Legal and litigated cases as provided by legal team.
d. Freezed marked accounts
e. Fraud reported accounts marked in the system or provided by FCPG.
f. NPA (including common borrower)
g. Any other account as per compliance team.
Q3. Where will I find the list of new account numbers against old account numbers?
Ans. The list will be circulated for the same. Also, the branch can easily identify the
new migrated account number as last six digit numbers will remain the same in
the new account.
Eg.: Existing Gold loan account number is xxxx05123456 will be migrated to
xxxx62123456 post migration.
Q4. Will the new account number fetched automatically in icore / iview ?
Ans. Technology is working on the same. It will be notified to the branches once it is
available.
Q5. How to update the new account number on the existing pouch?
Ans. Mention new account number on the existing pouch. Eg. New A/c : 1234567
In some time, centrally stickers will be sent to be stuck on the existing pouch
which will bear old account number alongwith corresponding new account
number.
Q6. Does the branch have to do any changes on the existing ICAC copy?
Ans. Yes, the branch should mention the new account number on the existing ICAC
manually.
Q7. Does the branch need to collect any declarations from the customer?
Ans. Not required.
Q8. Has there been any communication sent to the customer regarding the
migration?
Ans. Appropriate communication if required will be sent post migration.
Q9. How to receive funds in the migrated gold loan account?
Ans. Branch can receive the funds normally as it was allowed earlier.
Online – currently customer will not be able to transfer funds. However, the
same is under development. The same will be notified once developed.
Q10. Will renewal be allowed to customer in migrated account (new account)?
Ans. No, renewal is not permissible in migrated accounts. Customer has to close the
account by paying the principle, interest and any other charges by his own funds.
Q11. Will the Gold Loan migrate to Finone?
Ans. No, Gold loan will continue i-core.
Q12. What is new command in i-core post migration?
Ans. List of commands will be shared separately.
Q13. How will the branch do pouch reconciliation?
Ans. Account which are not part of migration list, will continue to appear in HEXECOM
report. For Migrated accounts, updated HEXECOM report will be made available
in few days. Till then the branch can reconcile with the initial list shared during
the migration and manual register is suggested to be maintained at the branch.
Q14. Internal BT process is available or not.
Ans. Internal BT process is discontinued with immediate effect.
Q15. Can we do incremental sourcing in existing scheme?
Ans. Yes, it is allowed till further communication.
Q16. Will new accounts opened under CAGLA, CAGLN, CAGLP, CAGLF will continue
or migrated into Demand Loans.
Ans. Yes, it will be gradually migrated to the new schemes under Demand Loans in
few days. Once sourcing under new scheme codes will be functional existing
schemes will discontinue. While booking fresh loans, customer should be
informed about the new product features where renewal facility will not be
available.
Q17. In case of any query, error, issue, etc whom to contact?
Ans. Phone banking team, V-serve team, Product Team, Branch Banking team, ZBPM /
BPM.
