The diagram below shows the average hours of unpaid work per week done by people in
different categories. (Unpaid work refers to such activities as childcare in the home,
housework and gardening.)
Describe the information presented below, comparing results for men and women in
the categories shown. Suggest reasons for what you see.

The given chart compares the number of hours spent per week on unpaid work between
married men and women.
Overall, it can be seen that married women have higher working hours than married men.
This number increases in correlation with the number of children.
As shown in the diagram, married women without children work about thirty hours a week.
This number increases to 50 hours after having one to two children and up to 60 when they
have over three children. While, the average hours of unpaid work per week done by
married men without children and men who have children are not much different. It is just
under twenty hours every week.
In general, married women work more unpaid hours than their husbands and the more
children women have the more hours they work.

The given chart compares the time of male and female spent on unpaid work per week.
Overall, married men worked lower unpaid hours compared to married women.
As shown in the diagram, women do more unpaid work than men in different family
structure while the hours for men are about 20 hours. As we can see in the chart, women
without children work for 30 hours meanwhile men spend just within approximately 20
hours. Married women with 1-2 children and more than 3 children work for almost 50 to 60
hours respectively. The gap is significantly different for women and men in each family.
The more children a woman has, the more housework she does.
In conclusion, women work without payment more than man. Married women from all
categories spend an exponential number of hours for unpaid work.

The chart compares the amount of time for non-profit work per week for different genders
after marriage.
Overall, women do more unpaid working time than men, according to the survey. As shown
in the chart, after getting married, couples spend various amount of time do unpaid
work. In particular, husbands work less than 20 hours a week depending on marital status,
while women tend to have more work after childbirth, about 30 hours per week. Especially
after having more than 3 children, the average amount of time the female has to do chores
increases significantly to 60 hours per week, while the male has decreased slightly.
In general, married women with large families have more work to do than their husbands.

The given chart reveals/publishes how much time married women and married men do
unpaid work.
Overall, almost married women spend more time doing activities in the home than
married men, especially when they have children. As shown in the chart, in the families
without children, men spend about 18 or 19 hours per week to do housework. Meanwhile,
women spend about 30 hours per week to do the same jobs, approximately 11 or 12 hours
more than their married partners. In families having 1-2 children, the amount of time men
do unpaid work is steady. However, women' doing activities in the home time increases
rapidly, about 20 hours greater than before they have children. It's also noticeable that
when they have more than 3 children, men spend less time doing housework than before.
Besides, women spend 60 hours per week on unpaid work, rising double hours in
comparison with period when they are without children.
In general, the amount of time doing unpaid work of women and men is in correlation with
the number of children they have.
