PART 1: SOCIAL INTERACTION.

1. I have been learning English for 14 years, since I was 8 years old at a primary
school..2. Well, I learned English in many ways such as reading articles in class,
watching films with subtitles or listening to English songs. Sometimes, I chatted with my
friends in English.. 3. My biggest problem is pronunciation. I found it difficult to
pronounce some sounds in English. Besides, I don’t have enough vocabulary to express
my ideas.4. Of course. Learning English is very important nowadays because people can
do international business. Besides, knowing English is useful when we travel abroad.

TOPIC 2: FAMILY

1. My family has 5 people including my father, my mother, my younger sister, my

younger brother and me. My father and my mother are workers. My younger sister and
my younger brother are primary students. My family members get on well with each
other.2. I come from a small family including 5 members. When living in a nuclear
family, we have more time to take care of each other .3. My family do many activities
together. For example, we enjoy playing sports and cooking food in our spare time.
Sometimes, we go on a picnic at the weekend.4. I am very close to my mother. She has
always been my biggest supporter and I can talk to her about anything. We share a lot of
interests and enjoy spending time cooking and shopping together.

I come from a small and close-knit family of five, including my parents, younger sister,
younger brother, and myself. Both my parents work, and my siblings are primary school
students. Despite our busy schedules, we have a strong bond and get along well with each
other.

Living in a small family has its advantages. We have more time to take care of one
another and support each other. We enjoy engaging in various activities together. For
example, we love playing sports and cooking meals in our free time. On weekends, we
often go on picnics to explore new places and create lasting memories.

I share a special connection with my mother. She has always been my biggest supporter,
and I can talk to her about anything. We share many interests and enjoy spending time
cooking and shopping together.

Overall, my small family is a tight-knit unit that values togetherness and cherishes the
time spent with one another. We support and care for each other, making our family life
fulfilling and joyful.
TOPIC 3: HOUSE

1. I live in a house in the city center. It is a spacious house with 1 floor. My family has
lived there for more than 20 years. Living in a house makes me feel comfortable because
I can enjoy private outdoor spaces

2. I live with my small family in this house.

3. There are 7 room in my house including the living room, the kitchen, two bathroom
and three bedrooms

4,5. My favorite room is the bedroom, because there are many of my favorite things there
including comics, clothes, bags and my room is pink so I really like it. In the near future,
I will renovate my bedroom by building more shelves to store logos and my favorite
anime characters, and I will stick them on manga characters I admire.

TOPIC 4: HOBBY

1. In my spare time, I’m keen on reading books because it helps me reduce stress and
learn many things in life. Besides I prefer playing sports as it makes me keep fit and stay
healthy.

2. Yes, I do. I often play badminton with friends in the afternoon after returning from
school, because playing sports helps improve my health and relieve pressure after a day
of school.

3. Yes, I do. My family often watch TV after dinner. It is great to see our favorite
programs and chat with each other about everything.

4. My favorite program is VTV news. It is on VTV 3 at 7p.m every day. I love it because
it helps me know what is happening around the world. Moreover, I can get information
about many fields in life.

5. Yes, definitely. I am a big fan of reading books because it help me reduce stress and
broaden my knowledge. Besides, I love reading new online because I can know what is
happening around me.

6. I am interested in many types of books. I often read books on my major to improve my

knowledge. Sometimes, I read comic books to relax myself.
Let’s talk about your hobbies:

ð Let’s talk about my hobbies. Well, actually, I’m an active person so I prefer to
spend time with my family or my friends because I can share everything with
them. To be honest, my favorite food is chicken, especially boiled chicken. I
love it because it’s not only delicious but also nutritious. It can provide
people with a lot of proteins. As I have told you before, I’m an active person so
I like going to parties in order to make more friends and widen my
relationships.

EDUCATION-WORK.-JOB

Let’s talk about Education and work. Currently, I’m a full-time student at Vinh
University. With the major I am studying, what I like most about my job is that it is easy
to get a suitable job after graduation. In school, the most important thing I learned was
knowledge and skills related to my future job, like teamwork and presentation skills. In
the future, I want to find a good job to earn more money to support my life. To be honest,
I want to become a teacher because I greatly love children. I want to take care of them,
teach them how to read, how to write, how to listen and show them the beautiful things in
our lives.

Let’s talk about Books and Reading

ð Let’s talk about free time activities. To be honest, I’m such a huge fan of
reading because there’re so many books that inspire me to dream or to look at
the world differently. Actually, I love books in general but if I had to choose, I
would say that I’m a big fan of love stories. This weekend, I’m going to the
cinema with my family and my friends. I also like listening to music. My
favorite kind of music is pop. I love it because it’s really really enjoyable. It’s
can help me unwind and let my hair down after a long day at school so that I
feel more comfortable and more energetic.

Let’s talk about reading books. To be honest, my favorite story is "One God, One
Plan, One Life" written by Max Lucado. I often read it in order to get more knowledge
and widen my understanding. Actually, my favorite time of day for reading is before
going to bed. I often spend about 1 hour reading books whenever I have nothing to do
in the nighttime.
 ENTERTAINMENT

Let’s talk about entertainment. You know, my favorite actor is Hoai Linh. I love
him because he’s not only funny but also warm- hearted. To be honest, the best book
ever read is Blue eyes. Actually, it can help me unwind and let my hair down after a
long day at school. I would say that there are some games that I don’t live to play such
as video games, gambling. I think playing games is time-consuming and not good for
health.

VOLUNTEER WORK

è I think many people take part in volunteer work because it’s really
meaningful. For example, we can give our hand to a lot of people in our life
such as the poor, the children and so on, which can make us feel a lot
happier. Morever, we can have a chance to make more friends and get more
experience.

TOPIC 6: HOLIDAY AND TRAVEL

ð Let’s talk about holidays and travel. You know, my favorite way of traveling is by
plane. Actually, it’s really fast and it can help me save lot of time. Last sumer, i spend
my most interesting holiday in Cua Lo Beach with my family. We went swimming
and had a good time there. Next year, I’m going to Singapore, wich is one of the
greenest and cleanest coutries the world.

TOPIC 7: HOMETOWN

ð Let’s talk about my hometown. You know, I was born in Nghe An provice. It’s a
small and tranquil town, located in the center of my country. Actually the pace
of life is low which gives peole a feeling of peace. People living here are
friendly and warm – hearted. Moreover, the atmosphere is so fresh. To be
honest, it also has a lot of tourist attractions which are worth visiting such as
Cua Lo Beach, Uncle’Ho’s homeland and so on. I think it’s a good place for
young peole because they can hang out with friends at paverment Cafe and
enjoy a lot of traditional foods.
TOPIC 8: FOOD

ð Let’s talk about food and restaurants. You know, i like many kinds of food but my
favorite food is Salad. I love it because it’s only yummy but also good for health.
To be honest, i prefer eating at home with my family. I think it’s much cheaper
and cleaner. I feel really happy. I have to say that often eat out with some of my
friends on the weekend

TOPIC 9: HEALTH

Choosing healthy foods is very important because it directly affects your health, for
example by increasing the risk of disease. To stay in shape and have a balanced body,
you should combine diet and exercise every day. For me, balancing and eating healthy is
quite difficult because I often eat out with friends and not only that, because of the nature
of work and study, I have difficulty exercising and often sleep late. makes my health
decline but it is very difficult to change. Compared to exercise and diet, I think eating
healthy is the most important thing because exercise only accounts for 30% of what
makes you healthy, the rest depends on what you eat.

TOPIC 10: TRANSPORT

I often go to school and work by motorbike because it is very convenient for me and easy
to use. Because of the nature of my job, I travel a lot, so I don't often use public
transportation. If I have to travel far, I often take a taxi because it is flexible and not
expensive for me. In my opinion there should be more traffic lights in the city and to ease
traffic congestion and reduce traffic accidents.

TOPIC11: COMMUNICATION

Because I live far from home, every day I often connect with my parents and family
members and friends by smartphone because it is very popular and convenient. Yes, I call
my parents every day and when I need to contact others, I rarely write emails because it
takes a lot of time. Compared to writing by hand and using a computer, of course I will
use a computer because I am very lazy to write and a computer is more convenient and
can correct my mistakes

TOPIC 12: INTERNET

 ð You know, I often spend about 3 hours using the internet every day. I think internet
is a part of my life. It can help me unwind and let my hair down by listening to music
or watching videos online. Moreover, I can update a lot of information and keep in
touch with my family and friends. Actually, I don’t like playing games because it’s
really time-consuming and harmful for health.

TOPIC13: FESTIVAL

The festival that I love the most is the music festival because it is very interesting and
exciting. In the city where I live, there are many festivals, mainly music festivals and
often held in HO CHI MINH Square. and I quite like this. I think festivals are very
important because it connects people and can learn different cultures from different cities
and countries.The last time I had a birthday party was in October when it was my
birthday and it was me and my friends and we drank coffee and ate cake, it was just that
simple.

TOPIC 14: EMPLOYMENT

Let’s talk about employment. I think there are many ways to look for a job but for me,
networking is the most effective way because it can help me to save a lot of time and
money for employees. To be honest, if I had to choose between a satisfying job or a well-
paid job because I can earn money to support my life.

TOPIC 15: PERSONAL EXPERIENT

Let’s talk about personal experience. You know, my favorite time of the year is spring. I
love it because the weather is really nice. It’s not too hot or too cold. Actually, I enjoy
buying presents for people. I think it’s a way to express my love, to my family members
or my friend. I remembered on my last birthday, my mother gave me a watch. I love it so
much.

TOPIC 16: DAILY LIFE

You know, my weekday routine is different from my weekend routine. During weekdays,
I go to school but on weekend, I often go out with my friends. At the end of the day, I
look forward to some free time to unwind and let my hair down after a long day at
school. I’m not an active perso so I prefer to spend time on my own because I want to
have more space to do whatever I want.

TOPIC 17: Let’s talk about work.

ð Let’s talk about work. After leaving school, I want to become a teacher because
it’s suitable for my major.

Actually, my parents are farmers so I don’t like to do the same job as my parents.
To be honest, English is becoming more important in our life so I think I will use
English a lot in the future to communicate with many people.

TOPIC 18: Let’s talk about social problems.

ð Let’s talk about social problem. You know, some people use illegal drugs
because they are stressful. And some of them may find their life so boring that
they use drugs as a way to ruduce stress. Nowadays, there are so many problem
happening in the world but I think the most serious the climate change.

ð Let’s talk about entertainment. You known, I’m really into listening to mucsic
because it fascinating and a way of entertainment. It can help me unwind and let
my hair down after a busy time of work and study, so I feel more pleansant. To
be honest/ actually I’m an active person. In my free time, I often go out with my
friends and play sport with them.

Actually, I prefer to spend time with other people because I can talk and share
everything with them.

ð Let’s talk about transporttation. You kown, planes remain the worst of
transport for the Enviroment, together with cars. In my city, buses are the most
common form of public transport because they are not really expensive. I think
travelling by airplanes is not only for the rich but also for the other people.

Let’s talk about best friend. You know, I have a lot of friends but An is my best
friend. He was born in Vinh city in 2002 and he is now 21 years old. Currently, he’s
senior student of IT department at Vinh University. In free time, he likes listening to
music and playing soccer. Actually, he’s not only kind but also handsome. I have to
say that I love him because he’s willing to take care of me and share everything
withme whenever I’m in need.

countryside?
To be honest, I would like to live, in the countryside. I think living in the countryside
have many benefit. People living here are friendly. They live in peace and harmony.
The first reason is the air is fresh. Actually, there are many trees, mountains, rivers
and There is no pollution from cars, factories, companies so that people can feel more
pleasant when living in the countryside.The second, reason is the neighbors are
friendly. To be honest, they are willing to help each other. I mean they always live in
peace and harmony. Moreover, the price is really cheap. If have children, then life in
the countryside would be a better choice.

Let’s talk about music. You know, I’m really into listening to music. Actually, I like
many kinds of music but my favorite is pop. I love it because it’s really fascinating
and a way of entertainment. It can help me unwind and let my hair down after a busy
time of work and study, so I feel more pleasant. I usually spend about 30 minutes
listening to music whenever I have nothing to do in the night time before going to
bed.
